i have been put in charge of the soon to be gvg team
now asu kno gvging is a 8 v 8 death match
so iama ask that some of all considering
coming out for the team

right now i just wanna see whose interested then from there we can get more organized

if ur interested put one of ur character names (preferably one u use often)

a proffesion u LIKE to play
and then a proffesion ur good at (u might not necasseraly like it)
and what ur bad at
*u can have multiple of the above but try to keep i down to 1 or 2*

also put how frequent ur on and the hours ur most active
please mention if ur in a different time zone

time range is unknown , chose a time for gvg and ill do my best to fit in , maybe make a thread on the forum for people to confirm that they will be able to play or not at the chosen time.

I am most comfortable playing my Ele which would probably be my best option for GvG. My other familiarity is with MM. I don't think that would be very good for GvG.

I'm getting better at controlling my Rit, but I think I may need some pointers from you Kong, if you really like your Rit. I'm not thrilled with mine, but i'm gonna stick to it a while longer.

Have we decided on a Day/Time yet for GvG. I'll do my best to be available.

I don't mean to put anyone down, or for that matter this probably won't.

GvG is not for everyone, actually PvP in general is not for everyone. (except Alliance Battle which is a Joke and is not real PvP)
GvG is not the same as PvE which many of you are probably aware. Coordination,reflex,teamwork, and communication is the key. In PvE where you just run around by yourself with some heros finishing campaigns (in general is good) but finishing campaigns or having the coolest equipment doesnt matter in the world of PvP. Now I understand many new players are interested in Guild War's Competitive side and I truly respect that. But I don't recommend signing up if you:

A: Don't observe every GvG/HA game daily
B: Don't Have knowledge of all GvG/HA Maps
C: If your not UAX (all skills/items unlocked for PvP)
D: You Don't PvP on a regular basis (not 1v1 scrimmage, srry doesnt count)

I could right many reasons why people shouldn't just all of a sudden hop into competitive play, but I feel that everyone should learn first if you don't have the basic understanding of maps or simple terminology such as "meta" or "split" and even "Spike". What I do recommend (which I also got recommended way back) is to just observe as many games as you can, Get at least r3 hero in Ha, and Ra for your gladiator rank. But this is just my two cents on the matter and hope I hope everyone will have an enjoyable time PvP' ing.

yea i understand what paladin is saying

though iam not the most exp ppl in our guild i do pvp quite frequently so iam fimiliar with some of the terms they use while battling but yea

gvg is not easy in the slighest its REALLY hard with a uncordinated team but i believe if we practice enough (with calling practicing disrupting and other things) we may have a small chance at pulling it off

i'd like to try GvG not sure how good i will be but we will find out!

Good at playing: kinda depends. I'm kinda good with a lot of things, I am usually good with damage, and sometimes knockdowm builds, or a combo.

Bad at playing: Monks, Paragons, Rangers, Ritualists (haha thats a lot I know )

A lot of builds I have either have low defense, or if i have a reasonable amount of defense, I dont have as much damage as I desire.

Assassins- i like playing because they are just fun. I have alot of their skills unlocked, except for some that i dont use for some reason. I am good at offense but not good at defense.

2 vs 2 then 3 vs 3 , 4 vs 4 , etc , 8 vs 8

we had 16 people in the first tournement , that is already a 8 vs 8 screamage.

recruitig people to the trounement now is what we need to do for the later gvg team. i think we have now some of us that want to get into it.
if we can get 16 people that we can count on for 8 vs 8 screamge for training ... i think we after a few trainings will be ready to try gvg unranked matches and then go to the ranked ones.
