sounds like it will take some work to get a guild hall , like alliances in factions

Looks like it will take a lot of work for many of us to get Guild Halls.

It seems like all the guild halls will be hot.. I want a snowy one ;-;

Could we get some info from those lucky enough to be in the beta? Are you able to play any of the advanced classes (Druid, etc.)? I remember reading there's no NDA, and I'd love to get the inside skinny from trustworthy AoLies.

I was in the mini Beta.  There was not enough time or activities to advance to other classes.  I even created a Ranger because I want Druid.  The next Beta will be just the new PvP, so we probably won't see the new classes other than Revanent for a while.

What purpose will the guild hall give us? and do we individually buy them or are they bought by the guild it self

Based on previous mmo experiences, I would suggest that AOL start setting Guild Hall funds aside for hall purchases that will inevitably come about. Also, members should pay a monthly stipend during the hall evolution phase. I would gladly donate some gold towards a fully decked out guild hall for AOL. Just some thoughts I had.

I am hoping that most upgrades to the Guild will come about through influence. We have over 2 million in influence saved. I will keep my ears open for cash upgrades. We do have a few hundred gold stashed away. I do not like the idea of a required guild tax, but I would be open to donations. One game I used to play automatically skimmed a guild tax from all member activity. That was kinda nice.
