Midway for Officer? (moved)

With the newest officer promotions... Midway has offered his interest in becoming an officer, he has spoken to a couple of us already and he has said that if the position was offered he would be interested...
he may be a good fit for WvW commander??

I have talked to Midway on several occasions and he never really seemed interested in officer.  Completely opposed to the idea actually.  But, yes he has expressed an interest recently.  

He has been a great source of advice, and has stuck with us through our good and bad.  He does have some rough edges and can be a bit of a troll.  That will be something we would have to keep an eye on.  Otherwise, I fully support Midway.

I am all for midway being an officer. Me and him did WvW a bit before i switched to 3rd shift.

I say yes, Though I will remain a little hesitant because of "Drama" in the past, some things were said that i will always be a little uneasy about it, but if he works hard and is loyal I wont be opposed

Totally agree with you guys about Midway becoming an officer,played with Midway quite alot and it was fun.So i say yes bring on Miday to the officer ranks.

i have talked with midway, and from what i gathered is that midway is interested in being an officer and wants to go for WvW, so he has my vote as well.

If there are no objections I would like to move forward with his promotion.. perhaps during Saturdays Guild Missions?

would be nice if it was a bit before gms as I am in bed by time you start gms

I've always found Midway engaging and helpful. He would make an excellent officer.

Seems that there are no objections, so I would say yes.

Yay! I will try to do this a bit earlier so other officers are all able to be present!

LOL I was going to same the same exact thing WvW officer would get awesome!
