What server are you on???

Since we're trying to put together a group of people for wvw on blackgate. There are several other's who are unable to join because they are on a different server. So if we can see who's on what server. Maybe if enough of you are on the same servers else where, you guys can get together to do your own wvw havoc squads.

To find out what server you are on. Goto the character select screen. Bottom left corner look for World Selection button. That will open up a window with a list of servers. Look for the server with a little house next to it. That will be your server.

Stormbluff Isle. But if there is going to be an active WvW group I would be more than happy to transfer over.

Edit: Never mind it seems I cant transfer over because the server is full.... Do transfers to Blackgate ever open up?

Blackgate and other high population servers are actually locked for the time being. I am not sure when they will be opened again. They are hoping more people will move into the other servers. I wouldn't even think of moving until Heart of Thorns. It is a long shot, but I"m hoping there will be a short time for free server transfers. If that happens, I may even consider trying to convince all of AoL to move.

Yea, that is quite unfortunate as I would have enjoyed a static WvW group...

Why would you consider moving? Do you dislike the Blackgate Community or is it something else?

Since we are a casual guild, and getting members interested in WvW is like pulling teeth, I think we would have a more relaxed, furn WvW experience in a non top tier server.

If you are thinking of moving the guild to a new server, plan one out beforehand so it's easier to immediately move to it.

Only issue i'd have moving to another server, is winding up on a server that dies a month later and 0 wvw action at all. Then what would have been the point.

I understand the point with casual members. But honestly sometimes a slower server can be counterproductive. Havoc groups (which is the most likely scenario in a guild less interested in WvW) have a bigger impact on the competition. Since the server is top tier the competition is more fierce. A havoc group taking key points at the right time can be very effective. The members could feel they were really affecting the other team without requiring enough for a zerg fight etc. Just a thought.

Blackgate. Not interested in moving. It is difficult to recruit people for wvw on blackgate since there are so many active wvw focused guilds. However, the community is fridenly to everyone; the other active guilds will let you play with them.

I think that the new maps will allow smaller groups to have an impact, because the maps are so large. all it would take is five of us at the same time on the same map
