I am a baking fiend.

So yeah, I really, really like to bake, especially when I give the results away to other people.  I also tend to stress bake--end of the semester you'll find me pulling all-nighters, writing papers and baking cookies at 4:00 AM.  Around work I am also known as the Birthday Ninja--I'll either leave an "anonymous delivery" at the front desk, or somehow get into someone's office (I have many keys) and leave them baked goods on/around their birthday.  (My boss calls me "the dealer," haha.)  With two exceptions (for people I wasn't exactly happy with...), it's all done from scratch.  I thought I'd share some of my favorite creations, in no particular order.


Maple Bacon Cupcakes with Maple Buttercream Frosting and Candied Bacon.  (These were jumbo-sized--that's a 1-cup measuring cup next to it, for scale.)


Peanut Butter Blossoms.


Red Velvet Whoopie Pies.


Brown Butter Chai Spice Snickerdoodles.  These are my favorite thing to make... and other people's favorite to eat, apparently.


Makowiec.  It's a Polish sweet poppy seed roll, made around Christmas.


Raspberry Lemon Cupcakes.  (Well, lemon cupcakes with raspberry buttercream frosting.)


Chocolate Stout (Guinness) Cupcakes with an Irish Whiskey (Jameson) Chocolate Ganache Filling and Irish Cream (Bailey's) Buttercream Frosting.  Also known by another, more offensive name, in the US, as they incorporate 3 elements of an alcoholic drink of the same name.


And the most recent, Key Lime Cupcakes with Key Lime Buttercream Frosting.

Blueberry muffins. I like baking them cause I like eating them. Never successfully baked Apple Cinnamon Muffins, although I love eating them as well.

Sometimes i would cook the sunday launch using potato`s (of course) along with veg-chicken-gravy and some other ingredients,But at the same time i have a lovely wife that makes me most meals,lucky me lol.

Reese's Peanut Butter Cup stuffed brownie cupcakes with peanut butter buttercream frosting.


Each of those little cupcake toppers is another Reese's Peanut Butter Cup (with the foil off) topped with frosting and sprinkles. Cupcakes on cupcakes. Cupcakeception!

First attempt at a layer cake, as well as both the cake and frosting recipes.  I was quite pleased with how it turned out, though I'm a bit sad that it was devoured before I could get a picture of the inside (came out nice and neat!).  I even decided to get real fancy and decorate the top:
