NEED MOAR SQUIRES!!!!

Alright guys... With Beau heading back off to school soon, I will be busy with my wedding planning and everyone having their own lives as well...
We would love to have more people working up the ranks!! Ideally we would love to have 15-20 squires for the amount of members that we have!
It is 100% crucial that the members nominated for promotion are known by many if not most of the voting officers and there is NO issue with anyone!
Please guys.. lets get some names up here that we can start looking at.. start grooming and get them working towards the ranks they could have!

Played with all these guys and i think they would fit nicely into the Squire Ranks they will do anything in game there asked to do really,I know most of them are new to the guild but i would personally trust them all.

I too have played with all of these nice people and would agree with you kara, I think they would make a great addition to the squire team.

I'd nominate Maxie, but given that he's only recently back from what I think was intended to be a lengthier AFK, I don't think he'd be interested in the position.

I like all of these nominations.  I cannot think of any to add.  Some may need a little more time to watch.  Geoff has a few of rough edges we are working on smoothing.  Dax is still pretty new, but I like him.  Zan is really quiet, but he is eager.  Grunt seems steadfast and trustworty, but I have not partied with him.  Does he start/join groups?  Smurf seems interesting but also pretty new.  I like Maxie a lot, but he can be unpredictable.  What happened to Inkubus?  He seems to have fallen of the face of the planet.  

Part of me says they are all still too new, but that hasn't stopped us before

Don't forget to mentor Soldiers for Cavalry.  Get them on TS and the forum

Dax I am a little unfamiliar with.. I will try to get to know him before voting.
Maxie I would like to wait on as well.. he seems to have a side that may pose as an issue.

as for soldiers to cav.. I am always looking to promote but people slip through my fingers!

From reading above, I would like to move forward with Zan, Grunt, and Nyx for Squire now!

I want to hold off a bit on Dax. He has ruffled a few feathers recently.

Dax, Smurf, Geoff, Maxie, cam be put off till we consider again. Nobody else +1 for Ilzuk. I am good with Ilzuk being Squire too.

I'd like to add Neji to the potential list too, but like Dax and Geoff he may ruffle a few feathers. They need to be watched.

How has Geoff been doing the past few weeks? Any new complaints? He seems much better to me, but I would like to know from others.

+1 for all the names Beau put forward for vote. They're all good folk.

No issues with Geoff recently, though I know he can be a little reactive sometimes. And agreed on holding off on Dax as well for the moment. He gets a little aggressively defensive when it comes to his views on certain topics which can be controversial.

as for the others.. Geoff, Dax and Neji.. I honestly think they need to be watched for at least another month or 2 before making a decision based on how they are behaving.
I say this because it is easy for someone to change their ways for a couple weeks and then go back to their old ways..

How are we going with this? I noticed Grunt hasn't been promoted yet but I think he is definitely due.. unless there has been something come up I am not aware of??

I think Grunt has just been overlooked. I have not seen him on lately.

Yeah, im gonna be in agreement with Mrs Tech on Maxie. I've had a very long conversation with him the other night. I got to understand him a bit better. And i think he would be a fine Squire and even an officer at some point. He's got experience from previous games.

I'll third Maxie and I want to put Geoff back on the table.

That will give two more to help the Aussie times.

I would like more for the EU times as well. Who we got?

I think Maxie and Geoff should indeed be nominated, they appear to have moved past the little dramas they had and they have continued to be very helpful within the guild.

As much as I appreciate your enthusiasm... there is A LOT involved in promoting people, you need to have EVERYONE to have a clear vote, you need to discuss the concept to them and clearly outline everything that is involved with the big step up in expectations..
Generally I would advise waiting until you have been given a full go ahead from either a Lord or Beau.
Also, we do not promote people to that rank (or above) unless they are online and available to be part of the congratulations :-D
In saying all that though, I know exactly how exciting it is to promote people hehe

As far as them being interested, I have not talked to Geoff yet, but I did speak to Michael. He did not give me a direct answer. Seemed uncommitted to the idea and brought up some of our previous concerns about himself. He may need a little arm twisting. Mrs. Tech mentioned making him a Cuppa.

a couple of people are slightly annoyed by geoff. but only cause he can go on a tangent of random stuff. but nothing big. i dont see why not

OK, with the comments as they are we will need to put their promotions on the back burner a little while longer, keep a very close eye on them both and observe their behaviours :-)
Our voting system is crucial when it comes to promoting people to Squire and above, squires are junior officers and as such they are held to a higher standard.

I say yes to Maxi, but Geoff, I will say yes only for everyone stating yes
