I haven't decided if I want to buy it yet. I have barely played GW2 in the last few months due to uni work so I think I will wait until it comes down in price a little or if I get a few character slots cheap.

Does anyone have a time-frame they suspect until a price drop from the original release of GW2? I am thinking at least 6 months but considering the small amount of time I get to play and the fact I haven't even played through the whole story of the base game yet, I'm not too concerned.

I don't believe the original game dropped in price for over a year. I believe you can still get a character slot if you preorder.
