Yespolo has been banned as posted multiple ads for a site in China to buy shirts, all but 1 post removed and kept the last one solely for its ip.

i have removed ban from all the banned people , please dont ban anyone , there are other ways to solve issues .
i agree with kicking people from guild in game because there is a limit to the number of people so we can use the spot for others , but here there is no limit and its open for registration , so banning doesnt make sence imo.

before we had people posting everyday , it seams like the forum is only used for usefull stuff and not so much for random postings

FYI...

DS/Odin left the alliance on his own. He wrote a small post in ally chat... not to me or anyone else saying that they were leaving. I caught him and ask why, and he stated there was no events happening and no interest.

I honestly don't think there is an alliance out there that hold much interest as of late... with GW2 coming...and we still do hold our ally w/e events... that seem to do well... but there is a lack of interest from a lot of the members. Just a lull till GW2 comes.

It's easy for people to leave citing inactivity when they themselves do nothing to promote chat, party-ups, even simply getting involved.

You are right also, Alliances are struggling right now what with schools ending for the summer so finals for a ton of players, GW 2 on the horizon, new games being released, and folks in general burnt out. We are more fortunate compared to most because over the years there's been strong friendships forged that span across the various Guilds here which helps with poking/prodding/yanking/yelling for people to get involved.

DS didn't offer much in the way of any participation so like the saying goes, you get back the rewards for what you put the effort into. /shrugs

i found gw2 beta this weekend quite empty compared with the first one .. i agree the end of schollar year should be main reason.

i have a feeling that once gw2 comes out there will be a more defined comunity for each game and both , gw1 will regain interest for many reasons. but untill then the transition might be wierd.

Neo- added Dayle, Amer, Beau into the Moderator Group left over from when we were really busy and needed the mods.
That way members can be added/removed solely from the Group to be able to moderate all but the private boards (Leaders, Admin)

Also- if you add mods NOT in AoL, they will need to have their rights tweaked so they don't view the AoL-Only Section.

im not sure the diference , all i did was change their permission to mods, not all forums tho ...

i know at this moment we dont need mods at all

but i feel the forum is getting more and more people and i think that adding mods to it will bring even more.

and also gives them feel of a more important role in the over all officer task

i would not mind to link the mod task to the ingame officer task, but that we can discuss

Having people in "groups" with the set permissions for access is easier to manage then having a list of individual people set to Mod.

It's only for convenience, if you want to change their access to any boards, you just have to go to the "Group" and change it there, rather than going to each persons forum account is all.

I figured it out years ago after Akroma had everyone and their brother setup as individual groups so you had to go in and look at each one to see their permissions and modify as needed,.

- Deleted the personal "groups" for Amer, Dayle, and Beau since they're in the mod group.

but strange , now beau name is not red ...

when he logs out and back in it should be highlighted
