So as I'm sure some of you noticed, I've had one or two issues in guild recently. These aren't really the cause of me leaving but they basically got me thinking.

Unfortunately I think it's come to the time for me to part ways from AoL, after being a home and family to me for nearly 8 years now, its certainly not easy actually saying goodbye. Hopefully this doesn't sever any friendships or cause hard feelings for anyone, that's certainly not my intention.

I wish AoL and all of its members all the best and I'm sure I'll see people around Tyria.

I'll miss you too. It always sucks losing our ancients. Ratche made you an Ally, so stop in and say hi from time to time. You can do missions with us or pop by if you would rather one of us than a pug in a fractal. Very Happy

Actually I was thinking of posting this in the officers section some time soon but here will do just fine...

To be honest, quitting the game sometimes crosses my mind these days. It's just become a big grind fest somehow and I don't really find it fun... But I don't quit... And it's mostly because of all of you guys. Somehow, everytime I log in, I know some of you will be there and I never know what kind of mess you'll be putting up. It's like Xmas everyday! Then I end up thinking why I was ever considering quitting and leaving this bunch of beautiful people behind...

Another reason is also maybe because we have worked quite hard to keep AoL alive during all these years, especially after the transition to GW2. And I know, Wolf, you were part of the people who pulled up their sleeves to make it happen. So I just hope I can inspire you with this post that's rather personal (I'm so opening up my heart to write this) and that's you'll reflect to yourself and come to the same conclusions as me... Plus we need a british accent on TS!
