btw we should probably give a heads up on the officer forum about this, so people don't wonder why he was demoted.

He has not completely disappeared yet. I would say demote him to Squire or Soldier. If he goes over the 2.5 - 3 month mark. I'll instruct Bhukk to make him a Zombie.

I think that is probably what Ratche was aiming for.  But the demotion from Knight to Squire or Soldier should probably be explained on the officer forums.  Even just a simple, "zero's going to be playing less for now, and has asked to be demoted for an indeterminate amount of time out of respect for the other hardworking officers in guild."

Otherwise rumours might fly, and we have enough of that right now lol.

So uh ... hehe ... looks like Beau let the cat out of the bag before we demoted Z. I suggest we go ahead and make that official post I suggested, and follow through with the demotion, so we don't have people thinking we're doing things all supar sekrit.

I was going to make the post after seeing the cat let out of the bag, but I noticed Z hasn't actually been demoted yet, so I don't really want to say anything til we actually do it.

Yeah when I posted about Leprechaun, I asked about Zero. Beez questioned it and I realized that we only discussed Zero in the Lord's forum so far, so I edited the Zero comment out.

I would say go ahead and post in the officers forum. I don't really want to discuss much in this forum, really, anyway. Unless it is something very specific that other officers should not be aware of, all guild business should be discussed in the Officer's Round Table.

Zero's pm to ratche left the decision to ratche and the lords though. I think it was respectful of ratche to bring it to the lords to decide, since that is what zero requested anyways.

so what did we decide on this anyways?

I've been meaning to ask Zero about it. I just keep forgetting. He has not really stopped playing though. I see him almost every day. I just have not pursued it since he is still active

yeah that's what I was thinking hehe ... if he stays active, it doesn't hurt to keep him as officer ... even if he's not doing much else, he still can help with inviting the odd person ... at least til we get a few more officers promoted imo ... but if he wants to step down, we should of course grant him that.
