Hey everyone we have had a couple issues in the GC (guild chat) lately that I feel that needs to be clarified and addressed.

I and all the other officers of the guild would like to remind everyone that GC should be at a PG-13 rating.

Please remember that as officers we CANNOT always monitor the GC (we like playing the game too or maybe not online) and babysit you guys to ensure you are behaving (nor do we want to babysit you).

There should be ABSOLUTELY NO topics that would or will offend ANY members in terms of race, religion, political, sexual orientation, etc.
- Please use your judgement here if you think what you are about to say in GC will bring offense to someone, do not submit that entry in.

If there is a discussion/topic going on in GC that you find offending and/or inappropriate, POLITELY ask people to change the subject to something else.
- It is UNACCEPTABLE for you to be snide or rude when you ask for the subject to be changed.
- It is also NOT acceptable for you to never ask people politely to change the subject and/or bring it to an officer and the proceed to blow a gasket and have a temper tantrum in GC insulting others about either how rude, immature, racist, etc that individual is. Nobody in our guild is capable of telepathically understanding your emotions or position toward a certain topic nor will they ever be expected to.

If a member does request a change in subject, ALL members will cease to continue with the discussion. If it seems like they are asking in a joking manner, consider it to be a genuine request and stop.

Please be wary of who is online and make the effort to ensure that other members do not get offended by your discussion in GC.

If you have a problem with a particular Officer(s), there is a chain of command that you need to be aware of and bring the issue at hand to someone higher up in the officer chain. However, I do encourage you to address the problem in a civil way with that particular Officer(s) before you bring it up directly to Beau, Flynx, Bhukk, or other high Officers (These guys are extremely busy and cannot handle EVERY single issue nor should they EVER be expected to).
- Just like the military if you have a problem with your Sergeant you do not go up to a General to get your problem solved. Same rule applies here.
- All the individuals in Officer positions have been selected because they are capable of handling issues in a civil and logical manner. If you have a problem with one of us let us know so that we can fix it, come to an understanding and/or agreement. None of us (including you) like to know second hand that there is someone that has a problem with us without letting us know first so that we might be able to resolve it.

Should you have any issues with someone and you feel that YOU are the victim and believe that it needs to be address more seriously, screenshots WILL be required as proof. Utilitze the Alt + PrtScn function and edit the screenshot to JUST the chat window, mail message, or any communication the parties were associated with.

DO NOT assume that any type of reprimand such as but is not limited to demotions and/or kicks from guild will happen without proper evidence.

Lastly please always remember to cool down before you address issues, take the time to look at both sides of the argument, seldom are there arguments where one party has done no wrong at all. If there is a mistake on your end go fix it, and become someone better then you were before the argument.

If you can please try to resolve the issue without the aid of an officer, we should always aim to be problem solvers and not problem creators.

"The time is ALWAYS right to do what is right." - MLK Jr.

Thanks everyone.
