God walking... finally! :-)

Took a hell of a long time, but finally got it
Some maybe not the greatest of titles, but I certainly feel good about finally getting to lvl 6. I think the most useful ones are the skill and reputation tracks by far! The most annoying and time consuming to get were the cartographer titles, especially as I had already vanquished a number of areas before I decided to do the title. So I had to go back to many places. For the missions and vanquishing related titles, I used to use the sabway build a lot when I played with H/H. Later I changed to arkfenway, and this I found much better.

Thanks guys. Survivor wasn't that bad as I had about 2 attempts before hand and actually had the entire strategy planned of where I was going to go. It was done mainly over an elite skill weekend where I had planned the places I would go a few days before. I spent a few days visiting all the campaigns and getting the primary quests done. Then when the weekend came, I just went to each explorable area and just did elite capturing. So this way I got close to 900 000 pts over a weekend. This was done over two years ago, so there are easier ways now of getting your survivor. On the other hand ale hound, well that was a money spender :-) Did some during missions... some standing around doing nothing, and even tried the whole zoning thing between outposts, etc, which is the more expensive option.
None of these for me beats the Cartographer though in boredom and frustration. In the "early days" I didn't know about Texmod, and dabbled with Photoshop to help myself find unexplored areas. I think one of the big frustrations was that I did a lot of vanquishing first, BEFORE the cartographer. So it was annoying to go back again to the same areas :-)

I think if I had to thank anyone, it would be Moon from iE for introducing me to Texmod Also Oceanic Isis from iE who has been my partner in crime through much of the vanquishing. He on the other hand is going the long way around for his God title. He is doing the REALLY long titles like lucky/unlucky, treasure, and wisdom. He wants to be a "kind of big deal" in pre-searing

I hear ya i did Factions and Tyra without textmod....factions is a ---- cause u dont know where to go on the maps. and tyra is Really really big so it takes forever to find those little left spots...BTW i did the same with photoshop. but i did it in NM and im vanqing now...easier but longer.

As soon as I get through nf I'm gonna be working on titles as well
