I hid in my house on 4th of July so I wouldn't be mowed down by the all the drunks. But even worse, Fiesta di San Denato is coming - four days of hell the first weekend in August that is celebrated by the Pontelandolpho Club (Italian social club/restaurant/ball room facility) which is situated within spitting distance of my house.
Hooting and hollering till the wee hours, bad italian bands on outside PA system, people trying to park in my driveway to avoid the $5 parking fee, and cars blocking traffic on my street, drunks doing 50mph on my back road. It's nuts. Pray for me when the time comes. I generally become homicidal! lol
