music while you play?

so what do you guys listen to while you play?


me, i listen to a lot of 90's alternative (i grew up during the grunge era) so im always jamming out to pearl jam or stone temple pilots. i also put on a LOT of trance while im questing, it keeps me concentrated and enjoyed while i game. i love it.

what about you guys?

I usually just listen to ingame music or guys chatting on our vent. Usually, I'll have the TV running in the background. Don't really do music very often. When I do it is usually dance mix or club style music.

Rob Zombie, Staind, Limp bizkit, Godsmack, Metallica, Korn, etc.. Usually only while I run hfff.

I'm kind a music junkie, everything from Beastie Boys, Cypress Hill, RATM to Pat Benatar and Sting.

When it comes to music, my A.D.D. is usually in full swing.

Why yes! I do! In fact my favorite to play during GW would be music scores and soundtracks. The Final Fantasy medley I have composed is quite marvelous. I have somethings from every final fantasy even FFXI. (It's my favorite) I also have a medley of Immediate Music, Globus and Rob Dougan which seems to fit the GW themes extremely well. I'd share them with you of course too. I heard there was a way to put music in Vent and share with others so I'll definitely learn about that if you'd like to hear what's on my iPod as well. :] I do also enjoy the lyrical wonders of Heavy Metal: such as but not limited to Arch Enemy, Lamb of God, Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin, Demon Hunter, Devildriver, ect.

My last guild had a radio station. Perhaps we should get one. The one I started playing with when I first joined GW had a pretty good one too. Prozac Bunny's my first guild had a program which allowed up to upload music and it'd play random music from the downloaded ones and you had the chance to rate it 1-5 stars. After rating every song for a day or two it compiled a playlist of our favorite songs. Blade Radio was the other one, and there's only one really good DJ, DJ Dez. He plays everything I like. I supposed DJ Plaedes is okay, but she's 50/50 when it comes to song choice.

Chicago, Genesis, Phil Collins, Basshunter, Mahler....basically anything.

Sometimes it is itunes, sometimes pandora.com or seeqpod.com

Really, whatever I am in the mood for, I listen too. If I am not in vent, I am usually listening to music and don't want the conflict.

Same here! I sometimes listen to music while Vent is on and it gets a bit confusing... ^^; Healing + Music = Godly healer....However, Youtube + Healing = Kiss your butt goodbye. LOL I really hope this guild gets a radio station that is *keyword good. :] I've heard a couple people say that they enjoy soundtracks. It'd be cool if we pooled our soundtracks together and put something phenomenal into the motions. Imagine a radio station that just played soundtracks, the good kind. None of that happy go lucky stuff. I like the more dramatic stuff, and especially the kind of with latin chorus'. Ever heard Preliator? Rising Empire? (Immediate Music/Globus)

Lol while i am not on vent i usually listen to a whole array of things... AFI, Flyleaf, Billy Idol, The Police, Ac/Dc, Van Halen, and some Rammstein.

I am impressed that you have Rammstien in the list. Most people I know have never even heard of them. I love their music. Hard to catagorize... metal/headbang/punk/dance.

As for Rammstein... Oh god idk where to start. I hear they put on a bitchin show and awesome pyro stuff. I think the lead singer set himself on fire in one of his shows.

But yeah that's only a short list... XD Mucho more!

Oh yeah, they're like the masters of pyrotechnics. Not only that but the lead singer can do more than sing-perform. A lot of lead singers can get on stage and do their part but some of them lack the finesse of actually performing and entertaining the crowd. At a Rammstien concert everyone is up and moving and participating in the gothic frolic. Yeah, I heard that too. I love their music videos too. I like a lot of their songs, especially the one music video with him being like a Hitler or something. The one where he heists a bank.

I personally like to rock out to my pandora radio...

70's & 80's Rock, AC/DC , Van Halen, The Doors, Boston....
Metal... Metallica, Megadeth, Breaking Benjamin...
And then my Punk side.. GreenDay, Rufio, OverIt, UnderOath...

Alternative... Spill Canvas, Decemberadio, Reliant K, Hawk Nelson...

But then When I feel in the Mood to Shake Ma' Booty, I just click on the Techno/Electronica button and well you knwo the rest... They still can't touch this!

Hahaha.. well Rufio and Rise Against Had hell of good shows at Warped tour.... So idc (I have been a long time fan of both)
