canthan new year is closing in thought we might wanna host a district in canthan new year so i been collecting stuff from time to time for it
but there is still lots to needed so if you have any items following and willing to depart with them hit me ingame diablo el dementa/death so suddenly
this is waht still needed

i have 11 archaic kappa shells and 3 dragon roots

I've talked with Nola and Malibu Barbie of GW-EN tonight and the offer is on the table for us to sign-on with hosting a district (which we're planning on anyway) AND also join with them as part of their 2012 Getting Lucky game!

If we want to be involved with this, we need to pool together loot for prizes which can be anything from unids, party, sweet, booze points, tonics, weapons, minis, mats, scrolls, etc etc.

From their Wiki page last year:

Each District will have a "Lunar Collector" that will be collecting items every hour that the Celestial Being is not in district. 15 total hours that you can go out and collect an item (To be announced in all 8 districts and on-air. The item will be the same throughout all districts!) For example: We might ask you to collect 5 Red Iris Flowers for a Lunar Prize, so off you go! You come back, turn them in and we give you stuff! (Trust us, it'll be much nicer than what you would normally get from the Wintersday and Halloween Collectors) If you happen to be one of the "Lucky Trades," your prize will be larger! You might get some gold, a Zaishen Key, an ecto, or something else!

So what do you think? Since we're already planning to host a district, how about adding in just a bit more effort and increase the fun for all?

I'll need to let GW-EN know by Friday so if we do accept, we can be included in the post they'll be posting on GW Guru.

I have unids, leet tomes, alcohol and party points that i will donate to any celebration.

Also, i have 3 dragon roots and a few mantis pincers.

Lets do this. I think it will be fun for all of us.

I can donate z-keys, strongboxes, gifts of traveler, war supplies, party points, sweet points, booze points, common materials (as dust, iron, bones, feathers, plant fibres), rare materials (as amber, jadeite shrads, can also do few diamonds, ecots, rubies and sapphiers).

"Getting Lucky"Sounds like a great idea to me. I'll see what I've got to donate.

Ok so we've got all to host a district thru the entire event wo0t wo0t and I've also tossed our name in with GW-EN Radio to join up with them as part of their Getting Lucky during the whole thing too.

I like the idea. I do some trivia for the alliance in game at times. The stuff I give away can be donated if we go along with your idea.

When is this occurring? I'll be willing to collect items. I also have stuff in storage from years past: Firework Crates and some assorted party favors. Plus, I have a ton on minis since my toons have been inactive so long.

Received confirmation today, we're in for Japanese D 3 O.o for the Festival whenever they announce it!

the date for canthan new year isn ot confirmed but seeing the last few years it will be probably starting 2nd of feb and finales at 5th of feb..... tho this is not 100% sure

chinese new year was early this year , we are now in the year of the dragon since yesterday night ... it would be goid for me if anet would follow the real dates cose i have 3 public holidays
