Magic Find Gear?
I was digging in a thread about Magic Find gear trying to find out what may happen to it when the change is made and here is what one of the Developers had to say:
Hey all, no worries, we got you covered.
Weapons, armor and trinkets with magic find will become account bound, lose their current stats and will gain the ability to be double-clicked to select one of several stat options depending on the item.
For example, if you have an Explorer’s Pearl Staff, you can now double-click it to change it to any other crafting stat.
We will have a blog post about it with more extensive information as well, keep an eye on the website.

Re: Magic Find Gear?
This means that I won't have to craft or find new armor for my necro when he reaches 80. I'll just give him my converted Magic Find set

- Celestial will stay as it is minus the MF bonus on it.
- MF food will work as it is working now.
- Utility Infusion will still work.
- If you currently have listed an item with MF on the Trading Post, they will be returned to you, as they become account bound.
- Upgrade components that currently give MF bonus will be updated with new functionality.
- All existing drops and crafting recipes that have created Magic Find gear will be replaced with new stat combos.
- Non-MF runes/sigils/etc in your MF gear will stay the same, you are not losing them.

Re: Magic Find Gear?
This is garbage in my opinion. I have my MF gear just for magic find. It's not my main armor, so now it's basically going to be useless, and I can't even sell it off... Wanna post a link to this so I can post there??

Re: Magic Find Gear?
Man... Anet doing it again...
Just coming to mind... If you buy Explorer on the cheap, it can be recrafted to Berzerker... Same for Wayfarer that can then be recrafted to Power/Tough/Vit. could be worth it for some money making as I believe everyone will probably try to get rid of they MF gear now.
Maybe look at Jaltoro, Errol and Yakkington sets... They're usually quite cheap on TP. Less than 1g each (at least for my bleeding set) but noticed the same armor with berzerker stats was up to 3~4g per piece.
