Saturday Karma Train
Hello everyone,
I've long desired to WvW on a more frequent and regular basis with a guild; however, since ours is a primarily PvE guild it seems there is not a whole lot of enthusiasm to the prospect of WvW.
Thus, I have taken it upon myself to try my best to lead weekly KT's in the BL's. This is will assist our members who are interested in WvW to gain experience as well as help me develop my much needed and desired abilities to become a good commander for WvW.
Karma Trains for those who do not know is running around WvW BL (borderlands) and flipping camps/towers, and killing veterans for karma points.
Although this may take some time, once we get more situated in to this weekly event, I would like to have those of you who interested in developing their leadership skills as commanders to take over in my stead so that you may gain experience in that role as well.
I am currently purposing a 1000 server time (this maybe subjected to change in the future) on Saturdays for this KT event starting this Saturday 01/11/2014. In no way shall this event ever interfere with the already scheduled weekly GMs at 1800 server time.
Unless we have a extraordinary amount of people that are wanting to do extended periods of this event I am anticipating and expecting this event to be no longer then 1 to 1.5 hours.
I also hope to accomplish with this event assisting our guild members who need map completion for the BLs, considering that they are the most complicated in completing.
What you need for this event:
All levels are welcome to participate in this event. If you're level 5 and you want to join that would be my pleasure for you to run with us. However, that being said please remember because you are a up scaled lvl 80 with a green upwards arrow, you maybe targeted quite frequently by enemy players.
If you are a lvl 80 and are new to WvW I HIGHLY request that you being some sort of Toughness armor set, otherwise you will die more frequently then you will be wanting.
Also if you are attending I HIGHLY recommend you join us in TS, even if you don't have a mic. I will be giving instructions on TS and typing very little.
Note of caution and request for understanding:
Please be advised that because of not many of our members are extremely fine tuned in the aspects of WvW and perhaps majority being my lack of experience in the leadership role as a commander, we may wipe quite a few times when we go head to head with another group and most definitely if we come across the main enemy zerg. But remember we are doing this to hone in our skills.
Thanks for the support and hopefully we can start having some regular WvW! Lets go kill some SoR and JQ!!!!
-Daph
P.S. If you have ANY suggestions/questions please let me know or ask me either here or in game

Re: Saturday Karma Train
not sure when Sat 1/9/2014 is.. since in my area that is today. Best to put date and time and add your area.... like 1/10 9am EST (Eastern standard time) since we come from all areas of this complicated world... O.o
as for WvW... I am not a WvW player... but if we as a guild got together to hone our skill, get on Team Speak and just have fun I would definitely join... as long as it's at a time where I am available. During the work week is a definite NO. Weekends are good. I usually am a loner...mapping still, but would like to expand and learn more about GW2. But be advised.. I am a super noob...hahahaha If it involves jumping or indoor (buildings) fighting and underwater... I suck!! I don't know why...but I get very discombobulated!!! But if you can handle my noobness... I'm in!!

Re: Saturday Karma Train
Thanks for joining guys, glad y'all enjoyed it. I'll be leading this every weekend from now on unless there is a major conflict.
If people in our guild need to map WvW, we can take one of these saturdays and devote it to mapping a certain BL.

Thanks for organizing this, I am hoping to perhaps join a few of these soon (maybe when I get some non-zerk armor), Otherwise PvE is getting a little dull.

Re: Saturday Karma Train
Hey everyone, I am currently having conflicts with my ISP at the moment. I have some doubts that this issue will be resolved before this Saturday (Feb. 8th), so I may not be able to lead our weekly WvW this week. I'll keep y'all posted. Thanks.
