1 vs 1 tournament sign up

(I think the original post is gone, just creating a new one) Well like i said, quite a few ppl had some interest in another 1 vs 1 tournament, here is your chance. Leave a post with ONE character name of the one you'll be entering into the tournament. You may change your secondary profession as much as you want through the tournament, you may NOT change characters. PLEASE leave a post if you are entering! THIS SHOWS JUST HOW MANY PPL ARE TAKING PART IN IT AND WILL MAKE THE BALL ROLL ALOT FASTER ONCE PPL SEE A TON TAKING PART IN IT! Gold prizes are based upon how many ppl enter! First place is worth double the ammount of entrees. Second place is equal to the ammount of entrees. Third place is equal to half the ammount of entries. Dont forget, everybody who enters my events always gets atleast a little something just for coming out and having fun with the group. Hopefully once again I should be able to bartend throughout the entire event. All you can drink for EVERYBODY!

Well, I was afraid that signing up would scare off everyone else out of fear of having to fight a GoD, but what the heck. I'll sign up my character Tomisa Arishikage contingent upon when the tournament is taking place.

And I didn't see anything in this thread about entry fee either. What's the cost?

The Officers of AoL have all donated to the pot here. As far as I know, there IS no entry fee. It's free to participate with a prize for the winner.

I'm pretty sure Scythe said she wanted to do it, but it will depend on the date and time.

Come on Come On!! I know we have more then the above people who have characters they totally own with, this is a fun chance to try out your bars, get bragging rights (not to mention Def's hat which I'll give back), AND prizes! Win, Lose or Draw at least everyone who participates will be able to say they were involved, AND besides.... it's all in good fun so whether you're an avid pvp'er or mostly pve, what do you have to lose by giving this 1V1 a shot?

(and I'm certain Akroma will be holding it AFTER the Halloween events are done so that no one misses out on the drops, etc. once there's enough sign-ups)

Been over a month - 11 ppl (10 really because Cassna is no longer with us) Minsc, Mighty, Gorwad, Lixxz, TiVO, Kiera, Diggy, Damia Dovenskya, Dark Falcon X, Def Potec. this is less than half of the one i put together last time! >:E well if it comes down to it then we'll have a small tourny this time..i was hoping for a MUCH bigger turn out. no matter how much i try to spread it around and advertise as well as having others help out. 10 ppl? /sigh

(I'm basing the event times upon when ppl have been able to show up in the past) The 1 vs 1 tournament will be held Sunday November 2nd SHARPLY at 3pm. be there early! if you are there late - you lose your spot in the bracket and will not be allowed to enter. no exceptions.

sry, i realized that somebody had already announced a guild meeting and urgoz get together that day and around that time - so we'll push this 1 vs 1 tourny back one weekend. Sunday the 9th 3pm EST

i did come runner-up in the last tourny (which i did win but the jury is out on that one)

sorry i wasnt there i had a camping trip at the last minute i signed up for and totaly fogot the ternament, ill have to sign up next time around

Well I lost and i can't really do anything about it.. But ill have 2 say that nect time i might drop out early cause all the spectators had fights after the match was done and it looked really awesome... hope something like that is going 2 happen again.. btw i was just lucky Kiera I guess it wont happen again..

A note for all you guys.. if theres a next 1vs1 turnament then we need some spellcasters especially if theres rangers in the 1vs1 cause i tried a rematch with Anya and Roxy and well lets just say that traps and melee isn't a nice combination for the melee..

we was 18 who entered the turnament and akroma who made it was standin against 1 when there were 3 people left since we cant fight 1v1v1

we had somebody drop out - which left us with an odd number. was a last second thing and to be honest i didnt think ahead of time for such a thing ^ ^ with the help of some others via vent we worked it out as Litle described
