Mirai for officer?

Mirai is a very active, friendly and helpful member of ours. I think he would make a very good officer.
What do you guys think of it?
He's not only helping many guildies out and giving advice and stuff, he's also on a lot during my times.
He uses forum, TS, and is also active in guild chat.
I'm not sure if he wants to be promoted, but I figured I'd ask about your opinions here, first.
He gets 10/10 from me.

I like Mirai but usually I'm only seeing him in passing while I log on and he logs off, so I'll let the people who actually play with him have their say in this.

From what I have seen of Mirai, I agree with you. Very friendly and helpful. I also like that he plays at the times we need more officer coverage. I think he would be a good choice.

All dealings with Mirai have been very pleasant and I am for supporting a promotion!

I don't see why not... But I somehow recall he did not want to be one? Maybe I'm wrong... Just ask him and see.

Although I do not know mirai very well, I have no objections at this time to him being an officer if he would like the responsibility. Friendly, helpful, gives advice, active in chat, etc.

Andrea, for what it's worth, I think you did the best thing by bringing it up here first for us to discuss, before asking him. The last thing we want to do is ask someone if being an officer is something they'd like to do, then come back to them two weeks later and say "the officers said no."

I really like Mirai. I dont see him a lot cause of timezones, but I know he is helpful and very friendly. I think he'd make a good officer. +1 for me if he is interested in a promotion

Nobody has had anything negative to say, so I say the promotion can go forward! You may have the honor Andrea! If Mirai accepts, we would be honored to have him in our ranks.

Honestly I'd say since this has only been up for a day, we should wait and give others a chance to speak in case anyone has objections.  It's been less than 30 hours since it was brought up (and only about 24 hours since people started saying "yeah nobody said anything bad, go for it").  There's no way all officers have seen this who might have an opinion. Even less so since it's Christmas, and a lot of people are busy with families. I'm not at all against mirai being an officer, but I don't see what the rush is.

You may have a point here... We could put this on the back burner and wait until after the holidays. I'll talk to other officers about checking the forums when they're free and I see them online.
