Is this Fine Art to you?
This is my art work that I do. If you want to you can critique it and tell me what you think. I like working in a variety of mediums, ranging from: pencil, charcoal, digital, and clay. During breaks from school I do take a set number of commissions to help pay for art supplies and GW2 stuff. So take a look and leave some opinions of what you like and don't like.

Re: Is this Fine Art to you?
good points I believe you have potential
bad points you need to focus more on drawing 3 dimensionally even in line artwork
and I think you know this as your first pic just look at the "pig" shaped nose strong drawn lips with no shading and then look at the last one much different much better I can only presume the first one is an older pic. but still as I said I do believe you have potential.
I don't normally like to crit others work as I am somewhat over honest lol soz
hope you don't take offence to the above, I am sure it wont put you of

Yeah the first one is older. And it's okay to be honest with me. I need it for the career path I have chosen. Cause I work a lot in art it is better for people to be honest with me. So if you think something is crap then go ahead and say it. It won't offend me.
Here is another more recent art work but it is a digital wallpaper

Re: Is this Fine Art to you?
okay these two where do I start I am not a great fan of pen in any shape or form but when its done well it can be awesome. ... question? death is wearing a robe... where is his sleeve?.. small details are what makes the difference between an ok artist and a good artist or even a fantastic artist its all about detail. deaths hood on the right side is not in proportion to the way his figure is facing. I believe the best way to draw is from the inside out so you would draw what's underneath then put on the covering(robe) to make it flow with the subjects form.
Kisses...like it, but again attention to detail.. unless there two girls the subject on the right(presume male) has no Adam's apple no cheek bone(shading) and has a piece of hair that is not flowing from his head looks like its stuck on. the pouch on his sleeve looks too large for his clothing and finally his hair on his neck makes it look like his neck is broke imo needs to be a bit lighter with some shading under it to help lift it a bit of his neck. as I say in my opinion a good artist of any sort will always pay attention to the smallest of details. hopefully my advice will not put you of but inspire you to more detailed and become a better artist. my father (who I shall not name soz) was a famous artist and loved it when I was critical of his work lol, I am not an artist myself but know what I like. I do work in oil painting landscapes but would never call myself an artist as I am too critical of my own work lol.

Re: Is this Fine Art to you?
So with my death I decided to go against the normal flowing cloaked version. I tried to have him looking like he is coming out of a muddy hill slope. That would then make his cloak something still forming and hard so I gave it a more hard edge. The kissing one is two anime females kissing. and I just stop detailing so i wouldn't mess it up. And in my own opinion I did mess up the hand where I have it to far turned.
