Kicking inactive members

So, I've been watching the guild list for a while and I've seen quite a few inactive members (2-3 months or maybe more).
Mind if I kick them?
I'll send them a mail before kicking saying something like this:

''Hello! We have noticed that you've been inactive for quite some time now, so you have been kicked from Army of Lightness. When you get back and you'd like to rejoin, please let us know so we can invite you back! Kind regards, AoL''

I'll be paying attention to these things in the guild list for now, so I'm doing something useful as well for a change.

I think Ratche and Beau do this on a regular basis, so you might want to check with them on the thresholds (duration of inactivity) before kicking someone. Also, I believe certain ranks do not ever get kicked. One or both of them have mentioned this in previous threads here somewhere in the last few months, but I can't remember where.

Personally, I don't think people should be kicked if they've only been inactive for 2 months. I think Ratche and Beau's thresholds are longer than that.

I have no problem with anyone kicking them, I've been using the 10 week (2 months 2 weeks) threshold.

I do three months, or 2 1/2 if we are recruiting heavy. This is my stock message.

Hey! I've noticed that you have not been online for over three months. We are an active and growing guild. It is nothing personal, but I am removing you from the guild to make room for more active members. If you start playing the game actively again please contact me or another AoL officer and we will gladly invite you back! I hope you are having fun in whatever life is throwing your way Beau.

Oh, and we don't typically kick veterans. Maybe after a while if they never come back, but many of them hold a special place in our hearts

I've been kicking inactive peasants who haven't been on for abt 3 months. I stopped it for now as I was a tad shocked by the amount myself lol
