Prizes - *Prizes are per team and are meant to be split between members*
1st place 20k + 4 armours of salvation + 4 elixirs of valor
2nd place 14k + 4 mysterious summoning stones
3rd place 8k + 4 random normal tomes

Teams

Register your 4 man team listing the names of all team members.
Post your team name if you going to use one.

Below are the details of the tourny as posted in future events ... please read and follow the char creation instructions.
Character

All participants will be required to create a PvP char to take part in this event. Your char should be set-up as follows;
Class M/E
Weapon PvP sword with Zealous Hilt, Pommel of Enchanting and "I Have The Power" inscription
Offhand PvP Storm Artifact with Core of Aptitude and "Live For Today" inscription
Head PvP Sleek Mask of Fast Casting
Armour any set you prefer but preferably a set which can show alot of colouring *explained in description below*
Attributes Fast Casting 12 + 1 + 3 / Air Magic 12
Runes 5 x Superior Runes of Fast Casting

The above layout for the char will result in a max 105HP.

Skills

Lightning Orb (with above settings it will deliver 108 damage)
Elemental Attunement
Air Attunement
Windborne Speed
Shock

Event Set-up

# Participants will be asked to register as a full team of 4. Only one team member need register their team so discuss this to avoid multiple registrations. Team names would be good if you could be bothered.
# Participants can only be a member of ONE team not multiple teams.
# Each team will be asked to dye the colour of their char's armour the same color (example Team #1 would all be RED and their opponents Team #2 would be GREEN. This will make it easier to recognize the difference between the two teams should melee range be engaged for the use of Shock for both teammates and Judicators.
# Once the registration period has ended the teams will be put into a hat and randomly picked along with the team they will be fighting in the first knock-out round.
# The teams defeated in the first round will be out of the event and the winners will continue to the next round where they will be randomly pitted against another team again.
# Rinse and repeat
# Each team will have a Judicator with them as a fifth member but the Judicator will not be taking part, they will only be there to Judicate.
# The killing of a Judicator will result in disqualification.
# Judicators will be of any class/build they wish aslong as they have some form of self-healing incase they get caught in a crossfire.
# The matches will consist of each team trying to kill the other until the enemy team members all have a -60% DP.
# Once a team member has -60%DP they are out of the match for the rest of its duration. (This is why the Judicators are in the team so they can keep track of the number of deaths of each member and so the DP).
# There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.

NOTES

In order to hold as many matches as possible at the same time in different guild halls we may be calling upon a few members to take on the roles of Judicators.

If your interested in taking part in this event then I would suggest you create your char and if possible get in some practice. Team practice would be very beneficial.

In order for this event to work properly a fair number of teams would have to register for participation. If a large number of teams register then the event may well be spread over 2 days.

Teams do not have to be made up of members of the same guild. Aslong as the participants are members of the alliance they may enter.

So let your guildies know and get practicing!

Final notes
If the interest is high enough for this mini-tourny then another one will be held at a later date with entrance fees applied to enable a winners pot.
A minimum of 4 teams are required for this event to take place, if less than 4 teams register in the allotted time then I will move the event to a later date.

Not sure what happened Force but unless we have 4 teams registered by this Wednesday night I will postpone this event.

We wanted to join the tournament, but Blue (Lady) works on saturday nights.

If we fail to have 4 teams by the postponement point then don't worry guys as I'll set this up again in a couple of weeks time.
I may make a couple of small changes to it though for the next time around.

The reason the registration deadline is a couple fo days before the event is to allow team members to create their char, practive if they wish and for me to ensure I have atleast 1 other Judicator so it can go ahead fully.
In the case that you do get 4 full teams in for this I may make changes to the prizes slightly so all 4 teams get a prize but I'll only post that if/when there are 4 teams registered.

Don't know if this is just me not knowing something - but in PvP with this set up lightning orb looks like it's been reduced to 82 damage =/

So am I doing something wrong? I have air magic 12 and am standing in the Guild Hall

Sorry guys but this one is going to be postponed ..... I will reopen this event in the next week or so with a few minor tweaks which should hopefully make it easier to get more teams registering to take part.


The support for this has grown over the past couple of days and that makes this look very promising, thank you all for that.
As I said above, in the next week or two it will be re-announced so take that time to see about getting a team together.
