HM Dungeons

Hello alliance,

third time's a charm so I am pleased to announce the 3d series of Hard Mode Dungeons. My PC's fixed so I feel another attempt at juggling my personal life, school and Guild Wars is entirely possible (at least untill exams kick in). For those unfamiliar with me or this, I'll give a brief introduction.

What about me? I will shout in alliance to see whether anyone is up for a fight-through through a particular dungeon on Hard Mode. Groups will vary from 2 players + heroes or henchies to 8-man teams, depending on how many people are interested. I will post here which dungeons are planned and make an attempt at posting a date aswell. Alternatively, you can PM me either ingame or on the forum if you need help with a particular dungeon or just feel like completing one. I'll gladly come along, provided I have the time for it ofcz.

What about you? There are 3 things you need. 1. Access to the dungeon. 2. Access to Hard Mode. 3. A good working build. Any build that is equal/superior to that of a henchman is good enough for me, although I will often try to improve your build if I can to better suit the team's needs. You do not need good heroes but they're a welcome addition. You also do not need any experience concerning the dungeon, heck even if you've never done a dungeon in your life: it's not a problem. I will always ping my own (and often unorthodox) builds so you can point out all of my flaws in return.

What dungeons? I can complete any dungeon on Hard Mode with Heroes and Henchies, without any form of consumables. For these runs however I will ask around for every dungeon except Vloxen Excavations, Shards of Orr and Slaver's Exile. The reason for this limitation is that I feel that the challenge these dungeons present require more team setup and planning than I aim to achieve with these fights. Fighting here with the same tactics I use with heroes and henchies would require you to read my mind, which isn't a possibility (fortunately!).

When? I will mostly ask around at 8-8.30 PM (local time), that's 7-7.30 GMT or 1-1.30 EST.

The 1st Dungeon will be Oola's Lab and will be set tomorrow.

Okay, I'm pleased about the enthousiasm showed here however I feel there may be a bit of a problem with time zones. Darkrime is in fact done but I have not had anyone free at the time to join me. If anyone still has need for it, please pm me and we'll get together some time. Also, Flynx, I see your post is set on what's 3.30am down here, so I think you'd have to travel back in time to join me.

In any event, next up will be Catacombs of Kathandrax on Friday (I believe it's Z-bounty then)

kathandrax is the one dungeon i especially wanted to do but i got work early sat morning so wont be able to stay up late this friday (tomorrow)

As noted in my original post, I can only organise these till my exam period begins. Well, basically that's NOW. So Catacombs of Kathandrax on Saturday will be the last dungeon fight I'll 'host' in quite a while.

well thanks for organising the ones you did, even though my guild is no longer a part of this alliance i still read this thread every day to see if your doing a dungeon id like to do.

Well good luck to you, It's sad to no longer have EMA in alliance. Iae, Kathandrax has been done, thanks to a brave guildie and one stubborn PUG Rt. If I'm still around I'll be back to do more HM dungeons ... in August
