Party in July?

Bouncing around and off peoples over the past couple of weeks the idea for a massive party spanning a weekend in July to involve everyone thru the Alliance and have some fun! (July because it gives ample time for farming and coming up with ideas for events, plus by then I should be totally lame from kayaking and biking and looking for a do-nothing weekend 
What do you think? Can we spearhead this and have some fun with it? Remember the parties of Old that AoL hosted, can we meet the challenge and maybe even raise the bar a tad-bit?
Since Amber's racing was awesome maybe one of those, a flea market, lottery, trivia, of course what about total chaos 8v8 OR 4v4 Guild or just teams until there's only 1 (not sure how to div'y up 2nd and 3rd places on that though, suggestions?) Hide and seek, baby char playpen time, red rover red rover (no armor LOL), opposites AB (lol yeah some do the Luxon side)...
Date-wise what about spanning 23-Jul through 25-Jul? it's the last full-weekend that month and having diffy things going on ensures that everyone could participate at least once in something?

oh oh what about topsy turvy in hm something or another where you can only play the seconday skills of your toon? lmao and Akroma is going to love this one_ for the weekend we get the most gaudy outlandish clashing capes known to man/woman/beast?

I am up for a party!!! I think the 23-25ish is perfect. As long as its not the 4th weekend. Last year I was interpreting for the Jonas Brothers this year its Carrie Underwood... To Bad i am not a country fan...
Now for the party... I remember when we had the 1 on 1 a few years back, then at the end we had a free for all 2 teams... That was awesome. I think we should get 2 teams and just go at it! Mad brawl in the middle of the field.
I think Lotto is a must. Also, we had a mad dance sync in one of the towns waiting for the cantha new year. that was fun. 20 different sins male and female synced on the bridge.
Plus this might be a good time for a guild photo!
Also, an event i think would be fun is like hide and seek but using a screen cap and posting it on forum. From some weird angle and everyone has to find you from the picture. (must be a town)
The scavenger hunt could be fun too list like 10 different drops from kills and have people get them and bring them for prizes.
I think one thing that would be helpful is something that noobs can do to. We have some newer members or older members who just are noobish (points to self lol) and making events that dont really take a lot of skill or knowledge would be fun. Races, 1 on 1 and things like that are great for the skilled players but dont do much for players who dont have experience. So some kind of events that level the playing field for all players.

I've snagged the trivia and simon-says, anyone want twisted AB and hide 'n seek? Also Need to know dates & times on the events so we can get them listed up and start promoting the heck out of it.

Anyone else have an idea for an event or group they want to put together for a fun time? HEH will be celebrating their hmm 5th birthday around this time also and while chatting with Hennu I've asked her if they would be interested in doing some ally-playtimes to help spread things out so they're not all on US time.
