Well, it seems Akroma is still around so at least one player will know who i am.
I've recently reinstalled the game after a long period being away from it and was wondering if I was still welcome in AoL. If someone's from the old times could contact me in game (or here) that could be cool.

Thanks for welcoming me back to Army of Lightness…
In the last few days I’ve been back, I’ve sifted through the guild’s roster and found out maybe only 3 or 4 players are left from the time I was playing Guild Wars… So maybe I should introduce myself to the others who are now my guild mates.

I started playing the game in Prophecies back in the first days it came out… My main reason was I wanted to experience some MMORPG but didn’t want to play WoW for several reasons (I had to pay a monthly fee and it was troublesome to pay for it as I’m living away).

At the time, I joined a guild that was named Dark Steel Legion if I’m right where I met Neoteo and Vogo. It wasn’t too long before the guild went extinct (the guild leader was playing WoW as well and decided to quit GW) and someone created Exiles of Dark Steel where all those left joined for some more adventures… Eventually, some of us left the guild for different reasons and that’s when Army of Lightness was born. Neoteo was the leader at the time, but when the guild started growing, he stepped down to let Vogo manage the group as most of the members were from U.S. time zones and Neoteo is totally not.

I was an officer then, tried to help running the guild as much and as well as I could… I met some new guys including Akroma and Qordis who are still here today. But for several reasons, after the end of Nightfall, I got burnt out and took a break from GW. I always thought I would come back, but with my son’s birth and other relatives pushing me to play WoW, I did not return until recently.

So it’s been 2 or 3 years… It gave me the chance to play WoW for a bit and be an officer over there as well in a guild similar to AoL actually: Kind of casual but with people always ready to help others and who knew how to play their classes really well. We were doing some high end raids too but fun was the priority… Then history repeated itself, some players left because of studies or family or whatever and it got difficult cultivating interest in that game once they were gone… So I logged off one day, and it’s been 3~4 months I have not logged back in.

Well, that’s about it… Don’t know what else to say besides that I’m probably a bit rusted or need to get back on the saddle and complete EotN…

Ho yeah, GW wise I have 4 toons available: a warrior, necromancer, dervish and hunter… So if you need any of them in your party just let me know and I’ll lend a hand if I can. I also have some experience in places like Deeps, DoA and others (can’t recall all of them) but not sure this experience is still valid nowadays as it’s been a while.

My baby is now 3 months old ... i can barely read my personal email.

but it seams like time is something coming in my way as my life gets better organized and the baby is sleeping more regular.

Hey Neo, I did heard you got married and had a kid... So many things happened!

Yes I'm back to Guild Wars and AoL and happy to see some old timers are still around. Having fun so far, did some ZM with some guild mates today... So many things have changed in the game, i'm still trying to catch up.
