Elite Skillz Competition

As I spent time looking through a bunch of different elites, I started thinking "God these suck" and then it dawned on me... Thats just because I don't know how to use them properly. I mean why did arenanet make some of these skills elite, well obviously because they pwn in some type of way. Well here it is. Elite Skillz Comp. This is all about seeing how good of a skill bar can be made with some of the least used elites in the game. We will be announcing 1 elite skill a week to create a skill bar around. We are going to concentrate this on PvE. The guild officers will be taken entries to test out in a randomly chosen setting. The winner will be chosen by a voting of the best skill bar during game play.
We will always accept little side parts to the build (i.e. windwalker insignia's work best with the build).
Anyways, the first Elite we will be testing is the Ranger Beast Master elite STRIKE AS ONE. Lets see what kind of beast master's we get out here.

I wield a Hale Portal Staff with a Seize the Day scrip on it to max my energy at 58 with 2 pips of regen. My pet is a lvl 20 dire and acts as a tank / killing machine.

Ok! True to my word, I am taking this competition over! There are a few little changes, A La Minsc, but it is still the same competition!

First, yes, I want you to post those skills templates here, in the forum on this post! I will save them to my bar and hand them out both in-game and in it's own post here to the guild officers and leader for testing, WITHOUT the name of the poster. But I will be keeping track, nontheless.

Leader and officers are WELCOME to post up entries as well. But don't expect to be testing your own entry! If we get entries from Kiera or one of our officers, then I will test those myself to make up for the last vote needed there.

This is going to be a bi-weekly thing! We will be taking entries for the first week, and testing our entries over the course of the 2nd week. This way, we don't get a last-moment entry and not have time to test it out. Also, it gives out testers plenty of time in case we get a big turn-out for a certain elite.

Also, I will be going through them ALL, whether ones we already use a lot, like UA or SF, or not. This should encourage everyone to be creative! Use an odd 2nd profession or mix attributes that you normally wouldn't! I will NOT be accepting builds that are obviously PvX-based, so no echo SF or basic FoW UA builds here, or you will be disqualified for that week!

I will be choosing Elites by a random number system, meaning I am going to number the pre-existing list of elites that I happen to already have, and rolling a die in-game to see which elite will be used for that contest. ALL Elites are planned to be used at this time. Might change if I get too many stubborn people trying to turn in PvX builds though...

Kiera! I like your 2 ecto prize for the winner. If we can keep that prize going, it would be awesome. I will be willing to try to collect some of them myself, if need be, but I am still in need of Ectos myself. XD So I plan on entering my own builds as often as possible.

Also, the winning build from each week will be decided by the build who gets the most votes in total, so please, testers, only vote for ONE of the entered builds as your favorite. The one who made that build will be asked to name it, and it will be posted up here for all to see.

Since we have had this thing running already for more than a week, I am going to be giving out the three builds we have gotten to officers and starting the testing tonight! By Monday, I am hoping to have our results so we can move on to the next, but I will be willing to wait until next weekend, to keep things all on track.
