Mkay lovely people of AoL!! Time for us to put our heads together and come up with another astounding weekend of festivities, events, and other fun things for the entire Alliance!
Our weekend is 6/4 - 6/5 (this coming weekend 5/14 RoS is kicking us back into things)
So let's brainstorm and see what we can do! Oh and before you ask, yes everyone is warmly welcomed to be involved with OUR weekend, it's not just a GL/Officer thing but an ENTIRE Guild thing.... so don't be shy dont hesitate... you have an idea... lets hear it and plan out an amazing weekend for the Allies!

some examples are vq or mission trains, faction farming, dice like our friday night throw_down, flea market, trivia, hide n seek, simon says, pvp style battles, a writer could do short story but have everyone write its ending and best one wins, etc

The naked flare battles always seemed to go over well, so maybe some variant of that.

Or maybe a timed VQ event of one the small areas like Reed Bog, an AOLer goes with the party to record the time, and they go VQ.

Just a couple ideas that came to mind.

Faction collecting parties doing vq sweeps in both sides of the campaign
Flea Market (perhaps in one of those rare towns few ever go to like in prophecies desert or jungle)
Scavenger Hunt
Timed VQ Races

I had an idea hit me last night when I saw a bunch of people dancing in the gh, we set up to flash mob kamadan!! We set a time and date, get as many allies as possible to get on their female necros and go sync dancing. If we could get 20 or more and then go anf have somebody video cap it to pit up on youtube.

Thoughts??

ok... sitting at work I started thinking... (I was bored) but... I thought we could have a contest involving Emotes. Working in teams... each team (of say 5-10 members) lined up behind one another and the "host" does an emote.. first person in the team must "copy" the emote... quickest one of the teams wins.. then next person in line comes up and does same thing... and continues till all have gone a couple times and count up which team won the most... then the top team competes against each other with a harder version of emotes.... say.. describing the emote..or a question and the winner is whoever gets/ does the most.... (needs working on..) for instance... I could say... for the harder parts

"when a baby doesn't get candy he may...?" answer... /pout

"when I have a cold I might?" answer /cough

"when the president walks by, soldiers may?" answer /salute

Get it? for the easier part they would just have to copy the host/leader... I hope I explained that ok... Let me know what you think.... or we could expand it a bit or do something to make it more interesting... Vicki

(I also like a dance party... with one of those dancing balls, scavenger hunts and race "missions", Hide and seek-appoinants flag tag...)

Later all..... (btw... I'm drowning down here in Massachusetts....too much rain!!! No )

Mkay so my idea is for a santa/stalker who is willing on Sunday (maybe saturday too) to take booze, sweets, and party-point items (provided) and roam through the campaigns literally from town to town looking for allies. What you'd do when you find one is yell out in Ally-Chat you've spotted them, ask 'em what they're up to, and when they answer, give them something in return Smile

The idea behind its cheesey-poofieness is to
1. be random, you dont know where you're going lol and no one else will either as opposed to standing in a GH just handing things out
2. when you see an ally and ask them what they're up to in ally-chat, if they're doing a mission/quest etc someone could see it and be like HEY I need that too!
3. giving out points that can be used, always a bonus!
4. this just struck me too, it's putting YOU out there as well, getting you involved and participating!

i was reading and had an idea you could do with the emotes. so ya, one person does an emote, then the next person does that emote, but adds one to it, the the third person does the first, than the second, and than adds their own, so forth and so on. then like, the last 3 get prizes. and you could add more or less to it, but basically that's the gist of it. remember playing a game like this on the trampoline with the cousins when i was younger.

potential for more to be added as others finalize their ideas.
