Guys I made this thread, so that we can post material that we think may help us get a better idea of how to approach this new game. I found several interesting videos and will be posting them as I find them, maybe some of these videos can inspire debate or educate us on this new beast that is GW2. Hope this helps!

This gives a good overview of how the Economy works in GW2. I point of concern however is at 9:30...that people can buy influence! But also note the importance of crafting

edit: btw.. I think my new profession will be COOKING!! hahaha that really piqued my interest!!!

The attribute/traits segment makes me feel like a noob... I am having a hard time understanding it... maybe will have to wait till I'm in game and leveled since my toon really barely made it to level 11...

Are we going to have a AoL GW2 forum?? I doubt GW1 group wants to see this... And the GW2 section is for all guilds.... I suppose we could push that there... but I was thinking about our own GW2 section.... just a thought.

I started this post, so that it might help educate us about the various game mechanics of GW2 - and perhaps start debate over those mechanics that may shape policy in the next game. I do plan however to post these videos on another thread closer to launch.

This video talks about changes to the Guild System and talks a little bit about the new currency INFLUENCE , I highly recommend we start considering how we want to spend influence...

Activities?! As if there wasn't enough to do already! Perhaps Dolyak Herding or Thorn Wolf petting will make the cut?
