Re: AoL's Regular Events!
1000 on Saturdays is NOT for WvW mapping. It is for the guild WvW together to get experience in that arena of the game, ALTHOUGH if I get enough people that request we map during one of our WvW sessions I will go ahead and do it, of course this would have to be like at least 15 members, because otherwise its extremely hard to do the mapping.

Re: AoL's Regular Events!
After today's (03/01/2014) WvW run, I have decided for us to join GoF during their runs which happens at the same time as us 1000 server time every Saturday. The reasoning for this is
1) It is a Commander's Training Course, and therefore allows me to more effectively be able to command a AoL zerg in the case more people who would like to participate in WvW and for the upcoming season.
2) Our guildies that showed up to this event can probably all say that they learned a LOT from GoF and their explanations of why they do certain things and gave a large insight to how to play WvW.
Thanks for everyone who are consistent with me on this and hopefully one day we will be able to lead a large AoL zerg through WvW and wreck everything.

Re: AoL's Regular Events!
Hey! The_Say. Check out this post on Dulfy. There is a lot more information than I could easily type into a reply.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Guild Bounty can happen in any map except Orr, so that one is hard to say what WP. The Bounties have very long paths that can cover an entire map.
Guild Puzzle only has Three locations, so you should be able to get to them easy.
Langmar Estate (Plains of Ashford)
Angvar's Trove (Snowden Drifts)
Proxemics Lab (Brisban Wildlands)
There are six possible Guild Challenges, and seven possible Guild Rushes.

Re: AoL's Regular Events!
This is an old thread. The Mission times are still good, but I want to revive this thread by expanding on the idea of regular events.
What would our guild members like to see us do? We've asked this question before and get crickets. I want to see something like.
Monday: Ascalonian Catacombs, Caudecus Manor, FoTM 9
Tuesday: Twilight Arbor, Sorrows Embrace, FoTM 19
Wednesday: Citadel of Flame, Honor of the Waves, FoTM 29
Thursday: Crucible of Eternity, FoTM 38
Friday: WvW, Silverwastes, FoTM 49
Saturday: Guild Missions, FoTM 49 and 9 for training or whatever
Sunday: Guild Missions 2, Arah

Re: AoL's Regular Events!
PvP and WvW kind of fell by the wayside for our guild. However if someone would like to invite PvP oriented people to the guild to hook up with regularly, that can be arranged I'm sure! (Same with WvW!) The more active our members the better I say.

Re: AoL's Regular Events!
Those were just suggestions. I am hoping to open discussion. Unfortunately, we don't have a large number of people who do PvP. It would be nice to change that.

Re: AoL's Regular Events!
I dont think WvW for friday is a good idea. Its reset time on fridays and its always full. We would do better with saturdays imo.
I always try to encourage more people to do WvW, Its often lonely just roaming without a group lol. I dislike mindlessly following zergs. Its less about strategy and more about just overwhelming numbers to win.

Based on conversations with officers, we have decided to move the Sunday Guild Mission time up by 2 hours to 9am PST.
