Current Alliances?

bluemonkey (Chaos Marshmallow is IGN) told me today that Flynx told them that we have five active alliances with other guilds right now, and asked me who they are.

I am not aware of any active alliance (besides, loosely, liar). But apparently Flynx gave him this info today. Am I missing something? I felt kind of dumb saying I have no idea, lol.

This is actually a good question.. because I have no idea.. I know about Liar?

Liar is given.... I believe BOOM is ally too? and I there could be RLR (The Lords Of Dragon Heart) but idk the standing relationship aol atm

So um ... what do we do with them? I have no involvement with any of these guilds, and I know nothing about them. Do we really even have an "alliance"? Because if we don't, do we need to even say they are allied guilds?

Sorry if these are dumb questions, I just really don't understand what it means to say we're allied here.

The Guilds we have called allies, with the exception of SLD, were all guilds that existed in our Guild Wars 1 alliance.

The only ones that are still really active are The Lords of Dragon Heart (RLR) and Liars Cheats and Thieves (Liar).  BOOM still exists but Captain Ozone and Seamon have decided to honor us with their presence as more active members of AoL.

Liar joins us for first Guild Missions almost every Saturday.  They are the source of most members that are marked Ally.  

We do not actively interact with RLR, but I wish I could change that.  I just need to get off my ass and talk to Rick and see what we can do.

Our most active and fruitful alliance in GW2 was with SLD.  It was a Teamspeak alliance, we shared the Teamspeak and did all kinds of activities together.  I thought it was awesome.  I would like to see something like that happen again.

The Allies are considered family to our oldest members.  I know it does not make much sense to you young noob wippersnappers.  It just is what it is.

Speaking of Allies. Why was Lady Lala kicked out?

I think Lady Lala was one of those not on for 3+ months and not a zombie. Maybe that's why?

Maybe we should not up sell the fact that we have active alliances though. The way things are now Alliance is too strong of a word. We are Friends with two other active guilds maybe? One joins us occasionally for events, dungeons and guild missions.

Hmmm... not sure why Lady Lala was not marked properly.  I do remember telling Bhukk not to kick her out for inactivity, since he is in charge of Kicking out inactive members though.  It was an unfortunate oversite.  I will add her to my friends list and try to catch her if she ever comes back to the game.

I think that was me that kicked Lady Lala. She wasn't marked Ally OR Zombie, and was inactive for a long time. I just assumed she got missed by accident when I came across it, doing non-rep stuff. IIRC she was marked peasant and wasn't repping, and was offline for more than 3 months. Sorry if I missed something. Definitely wasn't ally or zombie when I kicked though!

im 95% sure i marked lala as ally when i invited her....

Not sure about lala, but if she comes back she can rejoin. I'd love to find another SLD type alliance, but without the drama
