The elephant in the room.

By now most of you know of the situation with Kara and i'm looking for opinions on it.  Honest opinions.  If you don't have an opinion thats fine and if you don't want to post it here I'd appreciate you just letting me know. Whatever you tell me will stay between us.   I don't want anyone to be afraid to post or tell me their true feelings, or expect reprisal, I hope you all know me better than that.  Of course this is not mandatory but I'm trying to wrap my head around what happened.   I was going to approach people individually but keeping things quiet is what got us where we are and the time for keeping things bottled up should be over.  Also you know that as Aaron will be able to see your post Kara will know what you say so if you don't want to post or just want to tell me privately then I will keep your confidence.   Aaron I don't find you telling her about this bad or wrong at all, she's your family. Oh also if you just don't want to deal with it anymore let me know that too please.

Can you be a little more specific about what you want here? Just general feeling or like our version of events or what?

As I've stated to you before, I feel that Aaron's participation in this discussion, and thus Kara's ability to know and read what is going on here, represents a conflict of interest (no offense to you Aaron, it's just the nature of loyalties to the one you love).  And while I do not expect reprisals from you (Ratche), I cannot say the same from elsewhere.  Just putting that on record, though I wish for everyone else to do as they feel is appropriate.

I don't really know the whole story to be honest. I knew about conflicts brewin' beforehand but she was there one day and not there the next.

My honest opinion is that once Kara gets her heart set on something she will fight tooth and nail to succeed this is a good thing but at the same time it can be a bad thing.
And I won't show or tell her anything as she isn't an officer.
Though I would like to see this coffen nailed shut and lowered swiftly.

Sorry not aware of any mess really... So can't give my feelings on it. I just know she left a few days ago and I wasn't aware of it. I feel kind of stupid for sending her a "recruiting" in-game mail now...

I'm going to treat this the same as the Andrea issue.  No, I haven't been in game much, but it's the same.  Kara left on her own accord, other people stayed.  The book is closed and discussion over, she made her decision.  Should she choose to reconcile with those people involved in the drama, it needs to remain outside the guild business.  We are now discussing someone who isn't even a member of our guild anymore.

Her relationship in game with those of us she chooses to continue to talk to or group with is between those individuals and of no concern to the guild.  It's no different than if we were company managers discussing the interactions between our employees and their associates outside work.

I agree with Pseu's post. Unless this topic was also posted to assess whether or not she should be allowed back in the guild and/or asked to come back, there really isn't anything to talk about anymore.

I'm not sure how much y'all want me to say here.  I've said a lot in private conversations.  Some people feel that my meddling accelerated this problem and brought about the current end.  I felt that I had found a timebomb and I wanted to deal with it quickly.  I did not expect Kara to leave so quickly just by my expressing doubts about things she has claimed.  

I like Kara a lot and there are people here that want Kara back and want this issue to be resolved peacefully.  I am not sure if that is possible.  I know Andrea is still trying to communicate with Kara.  

At this point, I'm not sure what can be done.  Trust is lost on both sides.  That is something that is very hard to repair.

Beau, I wouldn't sweat it any more than you already have. I feel that you have a good heart and only wanted a peaceful resolution. I am positive nobody thinks anything different. <3
