Kainis

From what I understand, Kainis will not be returning to Guild Wars 2 in any meaningful way. Has anyone heard different? Should we demote him?

I have not seen him in ages but have not heard anything from anyone.

Has anyone tried emailing him to find out? its only been 6 days since he last logged online. Ive seen Officers be gone for 2/3 weeks at a time and no one blinks out it. lol id give him more time unless someone knows differently.

Krov and a few others told me that, last time he logged in, he said that he was not going to be coming back.

That being said, I don't mind keeping him as Knight for now. Leprechaun was Knight for months while being inactive.

I'd say try and get the info first hand if you can... maybe PM him on forums or something. If he's really not coming back he should have left a message somewhere on forums so I find it odd.

If he's not active, we should just demote him. No point keeping him as an officer if he's not around.

If he happens to come back to GW2 then we can consider a re-promotion then.

demote him and message him saying something along the lines of why he was demoted and that his position is open for him when he returns and all.

I agree with getting it first hand, sending him mail via game and forums maybe. If he continues to not log on for a while (maybe a few weeks), then I recommend demote and do the mail about his position being there for him when he return (within a reasonable amount of time) like tia suggested.

I spoke with Kainis and he has said that he is going to be avoiding playing all games for a while. He will be popping in from time to time, but not enough to merit being an officer. So, I'm going to bump him down to Squire.
