Kainis Stepping Down

With new officers stepping up, and a few more expectations required of them.  Kainis has decided that it is time for him to step down.  Kainis is an excellent leader/trainer in many aspects of the game.  Fractals/Dungeons/WvW/Builds.  He will also be spending a bit more time with another guild, and is anticipating the release of a new game that will pull his attention away from Guild Wars. 

He will still be around as Squire and his expertise available when he is with us.  I am sure we will continue to see him around even with other games.  Those other games will have to compete with Heart of Thorns

I will miss him a lot :-(

We knew he'd be leaving for over a year though. Sad to see him go, but happy to see that the game he's been looking for has come along

Can't wait to see everyone back for the expansion though

I'm still around. My stepping down is partially caused by interest in other games, though I still do love Guild Wars 2 and have purchased the expansion. Development on the other game is going very slowly, and whereas there are things I can do there already, I haven't taken an active interest in the gameplay yet.

The catalyst to stepping down was that a lot is expected of the officers and I wasn't certain that I would fulfill all the duties required. I didn't want to create discomfort by forcing a demotion later or creating potential animosity from other officers because I wasn't as active in all things as they were. I decided to step down and just take on a normal member role. I will still be on, active, and helpful as I have in the past.
