Request for demotion Empty Request for demotion

Post by worf warrior Mon Aug 03, 2015 2:04 pm

I have posted this as a reply to another discussion oppps

Sunday mission from my point of view(as Supposed leader) was absolutely by far the most stressful one for me yet, I could not hardly get a word because of others talking over me. I resorted to typing it in chat that just slowed things down as I am not the fastest typist.
Even then other officers where taking over and trying to lead all at the same time in the end I just followed along and kept quiet. I know that most had done Saturdays gm's and it felt like they where just running the course whilst reading a book and doing other stuff at same time just to get through it. Its just proved to me that I am not a team leader or "officer" material and would formely like to request demotion to what ever stature you deem appropriate soldier/cavalry I really don't mind but I cant be doing with stress in game and at work and with all these rules and regulations that I have enough in real life to deal with, I just want to play the game with my friends and help out when and where I can to my own abilities. I love all you guys and gals but please understand I am 52 years young but I suffer with a condition that causes my thyroid to be underactive that in turn makes it difficult for me to retain info(memory) unless I repeat it all the time, so most of GM's I cant remember them until I start doing part of it then it comes back a bit at a time. same with dungeons but there a little easier for me as I do certain ones daily. anyway starting to calm down now....and breathe.....bit better catch you in game.

You do not have to feel obligated to run the Sunday missions to be an officer.  We can make other arrangements for missions.  Your other contributions to the guild are sufficient as far as I am concerned.  However, if you wish to step down, I do understand.

Again, I have posted about this issue long long ago, and have said previously that we need major improvements in my post- I don't really have the right to comment since I do not run them anymore/ can't make it as often but I stress that we strive to improve this! Everyone could benefit ^__^

I know exactly how difficult it is leading GMs, I know how frustrating it can get at times.. but I also know how much fun they can be..
I am very disappointed in myself that I did not stay up and try to help you, for this.. I am sorry.
As for you stepping down because you feel like you are unable to lead GMs.. this I am going to try to argue..
You're an excellent officer, with A LOT to bring to the rank! I truly don't want to see you stepping down!
If you feel that you're unable to lead GMs... you dont have to! it is not a requirement of your rank!!!
Please, think this through... dont leave!
Come and talk to me.. I know exactly what it is like leading GMs

Thank You All for your kind words and support, i have had a few days to reflect and calm down my stress levels back in control even though my irl work load has just increased lol. i am on life's seesaw at the moment but feeling relaxed. after talking to other members and officers i would like to withdraw my request to step down. but at the same time i would like to ask if someone else can run the Sunday gm's. i am still willing to help with it but maybe just have control of my party so that i scale myself down a bit that way i can just talk in party chat to control them a bit easier. at same time keeping an eye on chat and others etc prtscrn.

You are a good knight. GM's will not be your downfall. We will have someone else lead them.

Re: Request for demotion

Denied, Denied, Denied!

You (and every officer) were promoted for many more reasons than just one. We can and will find others to run GM's. No worries!

Agreed, you are too good to step down over something like this.
I am formally DENYING your request for demotion and APPROVING your withdrawal of said request.
