Recording Vote
Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen
Something has been brought up to me that some of you may not like me recording guild missions, now I would like you all to vote.
The reason for me doing this is to basically have something to fall back on if the crud hits the fan, drama or people not following simple instructions.
It has in the past been useful as a couple of the Officers can vouch as i have done so in the past when TS went toxic [For what ever reason]
In future I will notify all guildies prior to the missions to just confirm.
Please state your opinions below
Aaron

Re: Recording Vote
I believe that it is fine WITH notification. Or, if you use that built in Teamspeak recording tool, it should be obvious. If you want to use full video/audio, I would request that everyone is notified in guild chat and teamspeak.
There is a question of legality and liability, when recording, when people have not given consent. Laws differ from state to state and I have no idea how international law applies.

Re: Recording Vote
in the uk you can be recorded even without notice IE cctv in shops and street cameras as long as there is NO Audio.. if there is audio then notification has to be given but permission does not have to be sought hope that helps

Re: Recording Vote
I'm not against it. I just wanted to know what you would do if a member or two said they were uncomfortable about it. Do we go over them and say 'oh well'?

Re: Recording Vote
Eh really don't care, considering big brother has eye's on me every day i go out and my location is nearly always tracked via cell phone GPS. This really doesn't bug me at all.

Re: Recording Vote
I believe it's a 'do at your own risk' type of thing- while id like to say it's okay with notifications... There's always some type of risk there, and following that I would of put exactly what beau said in his previous post

Re: Recording Vote
No worries guys, so the most common vote is yes with notification, which isn't a problem, I think I can set it up so my screen cap is only video and I could capture the audio via teamspeak, thank you all for your input I shall ponder

Re: Recording Vote
I think its ok with notification, that way no one can moan afterwards, and if an instance shows up it can be reviewed can't it.
