Meetings?

We've found in the past that a few guild or alliance get togethers here and there never hurt anybody. We've pulled together alot of people, made new buddies, and formed many parties afterwards. Its also a good place for people to voice their opinions, ideas, etc. Leaders are able to communicate easier now from this section of the website - but what about officers, and members.

Should we have some sort of routine guild or alliance wide get together?

I think it's a great idea

Yeah definitely. Sounds like it would really work for me. It would also encourage my officers to actually speak up every now and then. Not many people in BVOP like to talk haha.

All you can do is encourage others to attend, it never hurts.

We've had some good experiences from having them in the past. Its a shame it dropped off in my opinion. I never liked calling them "meetings" i think thats a much more formal way of saying it. I used to call 'em get togethers. Let everybody speak their mind about what they wanted to do, what they'd like to see the guild do, any problems or ideas they had. Then most importantly try to get a good group or two to go do whatever they wanted to do.

The problem was everybody found it tough to get everybody to say SOMETHING. /scratches head They'd stay silent and you'd have to run over and grab each of their lips and move it for them. I dont want that to sound discouraging, i'm just letting you know whats what we've experienced. So, lets try to put a few get togethers into our routine, and try to work out any bugs/kinks in terms of communication.

Perhaps start out with some guild based ones? Then we'll have another alliance get together. Let me know when you all plan on having yours, let your officers help take the responsibility of spreading it around, encouraging others to come attend if they can. It shouldnt seem like a chore or a negative thing at all. (obvious) Let us know how they turn out.

Have always been for meetings to keep things up to date and kinda keeps the bond alive, the alliance.
It is a good way also to see what is going on in the alliance and whether a helping hand is required. Judge already made a channel in Vent, the G10. Another good way of having this meetings facilitated. I look forward to these meetings and hope to contribute to the bigger picture.

Yeah a get-to-gether is nice, I would even say this Sunday, for me "any" time suites me well, so no matter what hour.

lets shoot for a week or two from now. whats better for each of you? thurs? sat? sun?

Weekends are always better for me.

As I said any time is fine with me.

Let me know where and when I'm always available. I also think meetings are important.

I hope we have one soon. Communicating will benefit us all. Makes things so much easier. No communication leads to building up questions that could have been answerd, but are not.

30th perhaps? I'll be working 'til 3 but can come on after that. Sundays are best for me, but i know not for others. We want just a leaders get together? each have our own guild meeting then throw all the gets together after that?

I am down anytime man, I will be on a lot less in the day for now on. Changed my position with work and am going back to being office manager. That working from Home shit is way to distracting Cough ***GW***Cough. Anyway Ill be back to being a West Coast Night man adn weekend warrior. Summer is coming so Camping, Fishing and Summer Concerts will be cutting into weekend time also. However I have Kilborn and Ithalius who are my number 2's. Please feel free to pull them into anything if I am not around.
