Guild events

So far the guild events have been going better than planned. Its really sparked a fire in the guild. They have gotten more people than ever before to come to our site than ever before and register. Its set milestones by having the most ammount of people on our site at one time as well. Most importantly they're makin us continue to do things together as a group.

The best way to keep the guild going strong is to have the members continue taking part in such events. So, I propose that we have the members post their ideas for events that they'd like to see happen. We'll pick the next event based on which idea has been voted for the most. The guild events should be fair and balanced for everybody in the guild. For example - not everybody has nightfall or has beaten prophecies, so keep fairness in your ideas. If your guild event idea is chosen to be our next guild event, I'll personally give you 25k.

Start thinking, posting, and voting for which event you want next.

OH and by the way:

Dont worry about having to supply the rewards. Thats the easy part - leave that to me and everybody who contributes to them. Good luck to all of you, and your ideas.

ummmm how about..... from point in time, A, to Point in time, B, we see how many alliance factions we can collect as a guild. and try to beat it latter on.

we could also have 1 vs 1 battles, like a 16 man or how ever many want to enter, with all participants winning like 1k, another k for each place u make, a bonus 5 k for 3rd,10 for 2nd and 15 for 1st

By the way - THIS IS NOT to be confused as the NEXT guild event. Mesmeric Divinity made a post about the Urgoz elite mission that takes place in factions long before i posted about the next guild event vote. Dont lose focus on that Urgoz run. I plan on taking part in that, and so should everybody else who is available to do so. If you have factions but arent that far yet, ask me and I will be helping through factions up until the date of when its going to happen. (I dont think there was a set date yet).

So please DO NOT FORGET to enroll for that Urgoz mission. TY

Hello all i would like to suggest that we go with a youtube dance video woot!!! And I also think that we should have a beer and sweets party. And after that we go with soulkeepers idea to top it off while were all drunk and hyper. So basicly its 3 partys in a row~!! good fun good fun and thank u BTW akroma for supplying all the stuff needed! tyvm

ooh ooh ooh! AoL book of Guild records. We have a group of people who run it who are willing to give up there time to oversee people try to achieve records. It could be a big thing. we could have record breaking events. Things like... fastest run from point a to point b, fastest team clear of dungeon x, or really pointless stuff like, most alliance members wearing party hat y in the same place or most people to symultaneously lvl up. I think it could be fun. Just came to me and this seemed a good place to write it down.

Its double sunspear points this weekend as well and i fancy taking a crack at the sunspear title track. Unfortunateley still in NM and really only just ont he mainland but id love to do some guild point farming.

I would like to suggest classes. Where someone could set up like an UWSC, DTSC, VSF, Running, Profession, or whatever class and people would sign up and them be taught how to do it. This could really be helpful to newer players to learn about their profession, swap builds or learn cool places that require team work. We could have some of our more experienced members working with less experienced. By education we can help each other out and get to know each other too. "Give a man a fish, feed him once. Teach a man to fish feed him for a life time."

My ideas; haven't worked any specifics out yet, but:

A scavenger hunt
Hide and Go Seek
Races (even though this has been done already, but it could be done with laps around a guild hall)

Scavenger hunt is a good idea, we did one in my last guild and it was great fun ^_^ I put a vote forwards to do that!

I want more guild PvP stuff! So any GvG or AB or other stuff. I have never done TA, or RA. I am not much of a PvP player but I am up for learning if it means we get ppl together.

im almost always up for any events that im informed of that i can get to =P so yeh just hit me up for any events

There are many things we can do with our old events and possible new events. For example we could do a scavenger hunt, where the prizes can be chosen later. Also we can improve on the guild lotto buy increasing the times the lotto is played and make it more like an actuall lotto. Have them pick 6 numbers from 1-20. Each pick of 6 numbers will cost 1k, if they get 3 numbers right, they win their money back. 4 numbers would win them double their money so 2k. 5 numbers would be a prize of say...10k-15k? and 6 would be the whopping jackpot. We can do this weekly, or twice a week. Amber used to do this in LAIR and it was hella popular.

For a more complicated event that can be done per month or every two months would be an elite armor giveaway transport event. The GL and officers would be in Europe english D1 of a certain map around the world. In guild chat one by one every 5 minutes 1 of the people hiding in a map would give a hint as to whats around them, or maybe a pun of the places name etc. be creative. Once a guild member actually finds the place your talking about they will post there and trade you. You will trade them a crappy item from the collecters that has been customized to you, so its 100% that they found you. Once all 5 customized items have been found they will teleport to europe d1 in great temple of balthazaar and will have to run and find Akroma in GTOB. First person to trade him wins an elite armor of their choice..well other then FoW. ^_^ I know this is kind of unfair to people who dont have all campains but it is hella fun and is guaranteed to get almost everyone participating.

I would like to get together and train a TA team. I know that their are some very capable pvpers in the alliance. I would like to get a hold of these ppl and talk to them on vent. PM me your suggestions or comments.

Idea one: a 2v2 tournament. Random pairing but once paired the team must decide on jobs together because this is how the tourni works, if one character is mes/ele then the other character has to be ele/mes so teams must choose wisely because once u decide on one job and sub the other characters job and sub for the tourni is chosen as well (just the opposite of what their teamates' is) , same rules apply as other tourni's no cheap builds, only new rule in this tourni is NO MONKS allowed. (would take forever if teams have heal monks there would be no winner)

Idea two: fashion show much ? lol

Idea three: hide and seek - choose an explorable area (has to be somewhere with very low lvl monsters so running around you wont get agro) so make a team of 8 , one of the ppl on that team is an officer in one of the guild who choose a place to hide (preferably somewhere hard) and the first , second and third ppl to find the officer get prizes

Idea four: scavenger hunt- a list of specific items are posted and its a race between everyone to see who can find all those items first . prizes for first second third. NOTE: you are NOT ALLOWED to buy any of the items on the list, thats cheating.the scavenger hunt can also be like get items from differnt guild officers in different location maybe combine idea three and four together

idea 1 sounds good.

Idea 2 is fun but nothing rlly more to my opion.

idea 3 hide and seek is easy in an area with ctrl and the rest just running skills. however how perigrim did it can be done...hide in a town and give clues where u are.

4 sounds intersting but they have to be honest on how they got the item...btw low lvl items are the best i think cause no1 sels them and keeps them.
