Monthly Faction Contest - May
Monthly Faction Contest
Starting on the date below I will now hold a monthly faction contest - the prize? Bragging rights and a mention in The Mighty Bugle.
Start date -Saturday 16th May
Start time -12am (thats 12am Sat not 12am Sun)
End date -Saturday 23rd May
End time - 12am the following Sat (yep thats a whole week)
Details -
The main purpose is to introduce some friendly competitiveness into the allliance and at the same time to help build up the faction of each guild and ultimately the alliance.
I will record the faction standings of each guild at the start time and then again at the end time. I'll then ask Mighty to post the winners on the issue of The Mighty Bugle which will be posted the following day (Sunday) as always.
At the moment [RAiD] hold the bragging rights from the last faction contest.
If you believe you are then I'll see you in the the following;
AB - Alliance Battles
JQ - Jade Quarry
FA - Fort Aspenwood
DSC - Drazach Speed Clear
Good luck everyone and Good Hunting!

Can you take them away?
Are you upto the challenge of gaining more faction than everyone else?

Re: Monthly Faction Contest - May
The following was posted by Moon in the poll topic concerning faction contest DSC;
One of the latest things we are practicing to get it done fast is the Drazach Thicket Speed Clear - DT SC or DSC.
4 600' monks and 4 smiters wipe the area clean. It takes us 15 minutes now to clear it and with practice we could do it even faster. So thats -aprox- 16 k of faction per 15 minutes. The more monks we can get into that area of Factions the better.
The cool thing that adds to it is that ur actually farming at the same time and swearing because ur teammates always get the better drops then u.=] (read: joke)
Hope to see u guys soon making teams for the speedclear and join us in these runs. Ask us for the builds, in order to get the appropriate skills from Eye of the North that are required to do the run much easier. (You move like Dwarf, Finish Him are a few)
Not that great as a 600 Monk? But want to practice still in HM, I would recommend do the feather farming to get used to spamming skillls, ur hero can be ur bonder or even a teammate. Have fun!

Moon .. I should have PM'd you asking you to repost your post here but to save time I copied and posted it here to answer monkin's question about DSC.
As Force points out I have stated it is a copy of your original post and put your name up there for the credit.
Sorry if it has led to any confusion mate.

Re: Monthly Faction Contest - May
Deepest apologies guys ... my workload has increased significantly (as noted in the Leave Notice forum) ... I will recommence this next month once I have things in order.
I will ask Mighty to give bragging rights to DFD for this months contest in the next edition of the MB.
