private means only registered people can read topics.

atm only registered people can post , but anyone can read , i was thinking that maybe if we close the doors , more people will want to register to see what is inside , and on the other hand we can go as wild was we wish lol.

I always encourage members to go to our site, register, and see everything we have to offer. We have posts that can be insightful. How to hero/hench gate of madness, guild events, whats going on with our guild as a whole.

I get this question every time somebody tries to register with our site, and usually it was the only thing that would keep them from actually registering...When you go to register with the site, it says things like emploi and location or something to that effect. People didnt know what it meant, so I told them I think emploi means employed (where do you work). And location meaning where do you live. I could be wrong. I think if its possible, to change the wording upon registration might help.

As Akroma said, it might encourage some to participate more so it's a good thing to be private in that case...
