Mesmer Godmode

What did everyone think of the recent buff for mesmers?

Since mesmer are pretty much ignored in pve, I think it's kinda nice to give them a powerup to equal things out a little. Make it more enjoyable to play them and give them a real role in the party, to be looked for.

I'll admit its made a number of foes in the game harder, such as we found out with a close enounter with some frogs & incubus last night, but it isn't necessarily a bad thing imo

My mesmer is relatively new and not played a great deal, be interesting to hear from those who've played with them longer.

I think that energy degen needs a nerf in pvp lol. But other than that I guess all the updates are kinda cool xD Although idk how much I really like the way fast casting has a pve version now.

well to bad my mesmer was my nf only guy and now i don't want to play him lol. i have noticed now that when i aggro a group with mes in it i get my butt handed to me really quick. i don't die thanks to great healing but i watch the effect it has on my whole party right away.

Not seen this, what have they actually changed?

I say it's about damn time!

I used to bealmost the resident expert on Mesmers, back before they nerfed Visions of Regret. Now, they are playable again! And It's kinda nice to see them not be reliant on Empathy/Backfire anymore...
