Alliance Party-Weekend: Scavenger Hunt!

There will be an alliance Scavenger Hunt event on Sunday March 13 at 12:30pm EST!

The hunt will have a little twist to just finding the items and turning them in, with each item there will also be a clue for you to find the town where the person you need to turn the items into is located, upon turning in the item(s) another clue will be given for the next item(s) and town. There will be about 4 or 5 legs to this chain of scavenger hunt in total. The event will start from the Army of Lightness guild hall and will spam all 3 continents including Eye of the North. To avoid crowded districts and sometimes different districts of the same town being available this event will be held in Asian Traditional Chinese districts only, the top 3 finishers will each receive a grand prize and there will be prizes for everyone that finishes this hunt in the given time frame

Example of a clue:
Darian Henkerson is about to face off with a ferocious Norn beast, he would need some honey to lure the beast out before slaying it (or be slayed by it).

The player would need to get either a jar of honey or a honeycomb then deliver it to the character Darian Henkerson in Siffhala as that's where the Norn Bear quest is and I'll be waiting in Asian Traditional Chinese district 1.

There will be a 30 minute time limit to this hunt from the moment I give out the first clue

1st place finisher: 4x each: Globs of Ectoplasm, Obsidian Shard, Onyx Gemstone, Diamond
2nd place finisher: 3x each
3rd place finisher: 2x each
After the first 3 finishers the prize is 1x each for everyone that finishes the hunt before the time limit is up.

There will be no signing up needed for this event, just show up at Army of Lightness guild hall at the designated time and you can be part of it. Hope to see you all next Sunday

Then 4 others also made all the way to the end.

This was the first time I did a scavenger hunt in this format, sort of a trial-n-error run, we found a few places that can definitely be improved upon so I thank everyone for hanging in there and bear with the imperfections of this event and I promise the next time we'll have an much improved version! Also a big "THANK YOU!" to Kiera, Jemby, Dayle, Descent and Dan from AoL for helping me with setting up and running the event, and last of course thank you everyone that participated, if anyone wished to come but somehow missed it we'll be having another one in the near future so stay tuned, I certainly hope to see you all there!

You and the others who helped you did a heck of a job Darian. I am very glad I was able to participate.It was a lot of fun.
