So Weekly Raffle? Empty So Weekly Raffle?

Wanna make a raffle weekly, every Sunday to Saturday?

  • 1g per number, 100 numbers total.
  • 40% of winnings go to 1st, 30% to second, 20% to third, and 10% donated to guild bank.
  • 3 numbers per person from Sunday to Thursday, 12:01 am PST
  • Additional numbers may be bought after Thursday, 12:01 am PST
  • Maximum numbers anyone can have is 5.
  • Officers can only get additional numbers after Friday, 12:01 am PST
  • Drawings done on Saturday around noon PST in GW1
  • Last call for numbers would be on Saturday, 12:01 am PST
  • It is RNG, if there are continuing issues with people being sore winners or losers, they will be either banned from participating or there will be no raffle.

Whatchu think?  If we agree, I'll make a 'raffle rules' thread with this information, so all we need to do is create threads with the numbers and link back to the rules.

Maybe Bi-weekly to avoid pushing it on people too much, my personal feelings on raffles have always been that it is gambling, and I don't enjoy trying to force people to buy tickets.

Not against the idea, just don't really think weekly is a long enough time to fill numbers or make it something to be excited about.

once every other week is fine, just having something regularly scheduled would get people to be on the forums at least a bit more

How about we do both. The first week we can have 25-50 numbers with 1-2 numbers per person. The bi-weekly we can keep the same 100 numbers with 3 numbers per person. I think the weekly lotto would give the new members who don't have much gold a better chance at lotto. I like the idea that after certain day of the week ppl can buy more numbers it would help fill up the big number lotto.
