Activity Promotions!!

I know most of you guys are already doing this... but I would love it if we can really promote current activities happening within the guild... this happens to be my Halloween themed lottery atm... I know we have other things as well.. but if ALL officers could make a big effort to keep mentioning it in TS and Guild Chat it will make for a much more enjoyable event :-D

Hey, if it's all good with everyone, I'd like to add either the bags in the guild bank or the equivalent money of getting it off the tp AND the equivalent money of a good portion of the foods in the guild bank and add it to the pot. Yay or nay?

Edit: Yes I know what they were intended to be used for, so don't go using that as an excuse.  It's not being used now and that's that.  I'm just asking a yes or no thing here.

I will agree that food is not being used enough of... however... I dont want it to just be sold.. I liked the idea of your original suggestion.. a welcome parcel if that makes sense? a portion of different things we can send our new guild members as a "welcome to AoL'

The thing is, there's too much stuff in the bank to use it up for only that.  Right now our food stuff is overflowing the bank.  So I'm really tempted to sell about 70-80% of the stuff and just put it in the guild funds directly.  Probably buy about 5 stacks of each of the halloween foods to replace it...

Yeah I think we aren't really at a point where we have to worry about space.

However, there ARE some things that I can see never getting used, and I think we should sell those things on TP and put the value back into guild bank. Specifically I'm thinking the type of food boosts that offer little utility. And those gems and tiny stacks of crafting materials.

Not to free up space, but to make it a little less cluttered with junk. It's not urgent or imperative though.

I don't think we should give it up as a monetary addition to the lotto pool though. Perhaps we can use any proceeds to go towards paying for the reward for screenshot contests or other things.

Also, I believe some of the bags in the officer stash were donated to be prizes for the lotto. I recommend taking half of the bags and making it a bonus (and surprise, not advertised) 4th place prize, one bag per month for a few months. The remaining half of the bags I can still do the "Simon Says" thing before a guild mission if I ever get the chance to actually BE at one lol.

Alternately I think we should look at more contests or other fun things, but that is a discussion for another day, when I am not addicted to the labyrinth. That place is like crack to me. <3
