Poem 3: The Light

A thought for times of desperation
The Light
Does not the night beg for the break of dawn?
Where does the light cease to exist when one lives for it?
Rays will shower, radiance will sparkle as powerful as the spirt or mind.
The light will endure.
A beacon will always be,
For in its material absense it lasts for ever in the heart.
Even if only a fraction,
A tiny glimmer exists againist a dark canvas,
It still resides in all its integrity.
It can only be but so long forgotten,
For the light will always exist,
And endure.
