Poem 2: Jar of Dreams

This is another poem i wrote. At the time i was just thinking of how people forget how to dream
Fireflies
Lights flickering in the air
Dancing, glimmering, shining.
Children rush to catch the flies
Lightning in a jar, the power they hold.
A beacon to the future, for the future.
As they are caught,
Ends their lives.
As hair greys,
The fire dies.
