Thoughts of GW2?
Hey,
I've made this thread out of simple curiosity.
What're your thoughts on GW2;
Do you like it, so far?
Will you get it?
What would you like to see?
Et c., and any other general comments about it.
Regards,
EO

Re: Thoughts of GW2?
Yes, I will get it!
I've heard all kinds of rumors flying like
Obby Armor gives a bonus, well what kind? Cheaper to buy armor in GW2?
There will be race based bonuses. Asurans = high ene, sylvari = faster casting, norn = strength. Who knows if this will actually come to be.
All we can do is wait, wait, wait.

Re: Thoughts of GW2?
I've had many thoughts about GW2 myself. For rangers will the pets be more fantasy based and will pets have a skill bar so i can save my slots for myself. Even a 3 slot skill bar is better than nothing. As for pets i've had it with bears, birds, cats and wolves give me something fantastic like pets with elemental damage. A phoenix that uses fire u know. Well i've thought of ranger pets a lot lol.
Always wondering what effect the HoM will have on the game. U ask me GW2 is a chance for people like me who didn't play gw from the start a chance to catch up to the Uber leets because we will all be noobs when it comes out.
I won't lie i'm just waiting to crack a few skulls as a charr or a norn myself.

Re: Thoughts of GW2?
Great to have some feedback! I think it will be great, they're saying all the right things, and sounds really creative and the combat looks like it will put WoW to shame. Hopefully.
unfortunately, I'd love to get it.. But my old Advent laptop can barely cope with GW, let alone GW2.. I really don't I'll be able to play GW2. Will be quite sad when everyone goes over to GW2 for rest of us stuck in GW, I think.

EO

Re: Thoughts of GW2?
Personally, I have no interest whatsoever in it right now. I'll probably buy a few weeks after release once the bulk of my friends transfer over. Who knows, I might linger on GW1 for a year or two more depending on who else stays.

I'm really liking everything ive seen for GW2 so far, The only thing im not sure on is how the new skill bar works, the first 5 are selected for you judging on ur class and weapons and the last 5 are skills of ur choice. meh who knows it may work well, im still deffo getting the game and cant wait to carry on a human warrior legeacy . Looking forward to hopefully fighting them GIANT dragons to

Re: Thoughts of GW2?
well according to the gw2 website some skills will chain together so that 3 can take up only one spot on the skill bar for the warrior. their example was sever artery, gash and final thrust. i would like a 100b and sun and moon slash lol
