Beta event: April 27-29

First off, nice transition to Guild Wars 2 on this site

Whoever manages to create AoL, be it not Aura or an officer, for the beta events: make sure you are to invite everyone joining in these events.
I would love to party up and chat it up in guild chat with all of us that have the chance to participate in the event.

Not sure what else to say, I hope you are all staring at the countdown timer on Guildwars2.com along with me!

Orange names for those that have not decided their name specifically, please update with a new post if you make a decision of a specific name.

[Temporary] Server: Yak's Bend (EU, see below)

(If you are a European member you might not want to pick this unless you want to see if you will run well latency-wise in a NA server, but if you choose a EU server at launch then as of yet we know you will not be able to WvW in another server).

Remember though, we get free gems for the beta event to change worlds once if need be.

its good you mention about whoever creates AoL in gw2 ... its a topic that needs to be discussed .. i think what ever is going to be created on the beta will not be in the final release , so we can use this beta to learn about guilds etc.

To make sure: Write the name of the character you are planning to make in the Guild Wars 2 beta event, not your Guild Wars 1 characters. (Just saying, I think you all got that but just to be sure )

just to check... Amerthius Syradorn is my main toon in gw1 it is the toon that I registered my gw2 account with. Do I need a different one for the beta? if so, Amer Thius is what I will use.

You don't need anything different for the beta, it's all good.

I'm just clarifying that you are, in fact, going to make a character named "Amerthius Syradorn" for the Guild Wars 2 beta. Clarifying that people put the names of what their character names will be for the beta and not just say their name in Guild Wars 1 (so they can get invited in the guild for beta)
