New Squires??

I would like to suggest some more names for potential promotion.

Shadow
Neji
Mel
Gruntuz
Ilzuk
King - Phoenix

I dont think Mel is ready to become a squire shes a very nice young lady but she is very immature.If i had to rank these 6 this is my ranks top being the most ready to become squire.My choices have nothing to do with the fact that Neji is my cousin.

Ilzuk Would be higher up but i dont she her on as much as the top 3 maybe she just plays a dif time then me.

I didnt put them in order :-P just a couple names due to their time in the guild, involvement etc

The problem with Mel is every week there is a new and different problem with her. We cant have a "at what point do we consider more drastic action" conversation about Mel and consider her for Squire.

At the same time I wanted to bring up Neji for a while. Solid guy, great to play with, knows his stuff, always happy to help out and has a great attitude.

Unless we are referring to old Mel?

I have not been around and noticed the bad side of Mel, nor has there been many posts on forum about her recently...

Neji and shadow have my vote. Can't place the other three.

As for Mel, she is a nice girl. But I don't think she is ready to be bumped up.

We do need to note out breaks on any person, be in TS or guild chat.

Mel doesn't have the maturity to be a officer. She talks about all kind of random things, really needy, etc, so defintely not a officer.

I would say no to Mel.

I like Neji.

Gruntz still plays but has stopped being social.

I like Shadow.

Ilzuk maybe... she is good at giving her opinion.

We should add Boots to the list for consideration.

From what i have done with Boot, he is a good one. I would say yes to him.

As far as Mel goes she still doesn't know when to stop talking, even when asked not to do so, she just keeps blabbing. There have been incidences with other members (Saggy, i was not there for this), AND she whined so incessantly about not having HoT and being left out, didnt shut up despite being asked for such a long time someone actually bought it for her (Wasnt here for this) so she would shut up about it (I was told about this).

In addition every time the guild are doing something she is asking people to go very far out of their way to help her, more or less to the point of playing the game for her. This sort of thing is one of the main contributors in all of the "stop the handholding".

As an example
Mel: Where do I go for this mob?
Player: Head South, Just before the mountain
(without making a single attempt)
Mel: I need you to guide me
Player: I am busy
Mel: I need a guide now
Player: Fine
Mel: I can't fight it, fight it with me
Player: You havnt even tried
Mel: I want help
-Insert frustrated outburst we have seen from varying people before-
etc etc

I will be 100% honest here.

My tolerance has been pushed to the point where I will not be in a small chat group with her.
If I am, I end up just wanting to leave teamspeak within 5 minutes.
I have her on -30DB on teamspeak so if two people are talking I hear the one I want to or that is actually on topic in an event.

So take what I have said as you will.

II have only seen the good side of her when I have been on, again... I have not been on much.
This is why I put up names... simply to discuss, some of those names were due to their fixtures in the guild.
I have no problems listening to my other officers, I trust those who play more atm

Boots I def want mentioned... he is very. Active, very helpful and always willing to jump in and help anyone

I agree with Boots, Neji, and Shadow.

King kind of flies under the radar. He reps us and doesn't create issues in guild chat, ts, or the forums, but he also is quite antisocial. I don't think he'd want leadership if we gave it to him, but if we gave it to him then I can't imagine he would be remotely the model squire participant. That's not a complaint against him, I just think Squire should be for those that aspire to higher participation in the guild, rather than just a reward for time served without being a "problem member".

Ilzuk and Grunt don't really stand out to me, so I can't vote for or against.

I have been away a bunch for IRL stuffs but I would vote for Neji and Gruntuz. They are always fun to play with and seem ready to help with what they can. Mel I would veto and the rest I don't know well enough to have a say one way or the other.

I would say neji shadow and boots, but want to look more for some euro users too

I would like to see Neji+divineboots+gruntz for promotion.all these guys can be very helpful in all areas of the guild so they deseve a chance at becoming squires.

My only issue with Gruntz is I never see him on Teamspeak anymore. But, I believe he plays more in Mr. & Mrs. Tech's, and Sag's time. If y'all are happy with him, I'll back him too I'll also defer to others on Ilzuk (same reason). King has been with the guild since GW1, but like others said doesn't seem very social to me in GW2.

I think we are GO for Neji and Bootz.

This thread was moved from Squires since we move ahead with Neji, Boots, and Shadow. We may start a new thread for the others if they are still on the table.

Mr Tech, nominate or find us some good Euro members to promote I would love to. Also, remind us if we are discussing someone you recruited and we will make sure you get to do the promotion. Kara and I took care of the last three kind-of on the spur of the moment last night. I'm sorry if we took one from you that you wanted.

lol no problem I don't know who invited them I was just saying it would be nice if the original recruiter could follow them and promote them.
